The Edge School online silent auction is a fun and exciting annual fundraising initiative to raise money for talented young athletes to pursue their goals and dreams!
Watch for the auction to go live on the Elevate Auctions website. Over 50 auction lots for your family, your home, and you will be available – including 20 themed gift baskets and many donations from a variety of local businesses. The auction is open for bidding between Tuesday, November 16 through Monday, November 22.
Proceeds from the auction go directly to the Edge School Foundation financial assistance fund. With nearly 30% of Edge students receiving some level of financial assistance, the silent auction is an important annual event for the school.

Four Mountaineers Named to Provincial Rosters
Congratulations to our four Mountaineers – Alysia Grotsky, Hanna Perrier, Jaimee Spring and Farah Walker – who were named to represent their respective provincial rosters at the 2021 Western Regional Women’s U18 Championship in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba! Grotsky, Perrier and Walker will be on Team Alberta, while Jaimee Spring will be on Team B.C. The inaugural event will be held November 2-6. Good luck to the four of you!
Kipkie Makes WHL Debut
U18 Prep defenceman, Justin Kipkie, made his WHL debut with the Victoria Royals on Oct. 12 vs the Kamloops Blazers and has suited up in four additional games with the Royals since, congrats on getting the call, Kip!

Each year, NHL Central Scouting releases a preliminary players to watch list that names the top NHL draft prospects. Congratulations to former Edge hockey players, Josh Davies, Rieger Lorenz and Marcus Nguyen, who have been named to the 2022 list! Davies is currently playing with the Swift Current Broncos, Lorenz with the Okotoks Oilers and Nguyen with the Portland Winterhawks. You can access the list by clicking here.
Bohmer Joins WranglersCongratulations to class of 2021 grad, Nathan Bohmer, who joined the 100 Mile House Wranglers Junior B team in the KIJHL. He is the team’s leading scorer with eight points (5 G, 3 A) in seven games thus far. Good luck this season, Nathan!
Upper Commits to U of CClass of 2019 grad, Tyson Upper, has been playing in the WHL with the Prince George Cougars, but decided to start a new chapter at U of C, “Being able to get my education while playing great hockey is an opportunity I couldn’t turn down,” he said. Good luck with this next step, Tyson!
