Since its modest beginnings in 2005, The Dads’ Charity Challenge has significantly changed

the lives of hundreds of children through the years and along the route and has made some meaningful contributions to the various charities supported over the years.

With the aim of raising a minimum of R400 000 each year –these funds raised will be

divided primarily between our chosen charities, this year namely:

The Gauteng Down Syndrome Association (DSAG) Fulton School for the Deaf

Kidney Beanz Trust Kids Haven

CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation

Besides the main beneficiaries, the Charity has also been involved in a number of other initiatives : • Building a new kitchen facility for The Maloney’s Eye Rural Primary School; • Assisting with the school fees for a number of disadvantaged children at Rivonia Primary, St Peters

College and Montrose Primary, to name a few; • The Charity is currently also actively involved in providing disadvantaged cyclists with cycling gear

and kit as well as some bicycles sponsored by various DADS members – all through an affiliated non-profit channel, iNSPIRE and the Legadima Cycling (a Zandspruit cycling development initiative).
