“We will PRAISE GOD all day long; and to your name we will give thanks forever.” (Psalms 44:8)

January 15, 2017 was a great day to be in the house of the Lord as we invited Pastor Greg Kitts and his family to join us in ministry! Pastor Greg has been serving as Sen-ior Pastor at Black Creek Baptist Church in Franklin, Virginia and will bring a wealth of ministry experience to DWMBC. After having served as a youth minister for 4 years during his time in Fort Worth, Pastor Greg moved to Virginia and began serving as a Senior Pastor in 1996. He has continuously served as a Senior Pastor for the past 20 years…with more than 15 of them at Black Creek Baptist!

His education includes a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Polytechnic and State Uni-versity, as well as a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Semi-nary in Fort Worth, Texas. It was during his time in Texas that Greg tells us he fell in love with the state and is excited to be returning to minister here.

Coming with Pastor Greg is his beautiful family – wife Suzanne and children Jared, Jenna, Elijah and Olivia. Suzanne is a Texas A & M graduate (Whoop!) and is excited to be coming back home to Texas. Jared is already attending college here in Texas, Jenna is about to graduate from high school this May and Elijah and Olivia still have a

few high school years ahead of them.

With all of the arrangements to be made for their move, they hope to be join-ing us in March. Please be watching for upcoming events that will be held to welcome Pastor Greg and his family and take the opportunity to tell them “Welcome Home”!

Deacons on Call for Janu-

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye. We love each and

every one of you. You have been such a blessing to us; we appre-

ciate you so much.

We know you are looking forward to having God’s man lead you

in the direction He has for you; the pastor who will minister and

care for you as God directs him. We have and will continue to

pray for you in this endeavor.

I know God’s man will be able to work with his flock here at Dor-

cas Wills Memorial Baptist Church because you all are a loving,

caring and working Christian community. May God bless and

keep you strong in your faith and service for Him.

Love,

Davis and Jeanne Eppes

Brothers and sisters,

There isn’t too much to update you on in regards to the youth department for the past month. They had two

weeks off of school, and from what I hear they had a wonderful time with friends and family. Pray for the stu-

dents as they start this semester strong!

Thank you for the opportunity to preach on Christmas Day. We were able to celebrate Wayne Manis being bap-

tized. There is a funny story that goes with his Baptism. Ask me about it….I’ll be glad to tell you.

On another note, my trip to England was absolutely wonderful. Experiencing the history around ever corner

opened my eyes to how beautiful, historically, England is. I was able to go to Oxford, Cambridge, Old Hurst, Stone-

henge, and celebrated New Years in London. However, my heart broke to see these massive Churches with no

one in them. Churches that could seat hundreds and even thousands were empty.

Virtual Suggestion Box

There are those in the church who are very observant about things and notice things others do not. The church building, it’s rooms and bathrooms from time to time need a special touch. We need to keep it looking as nice as we can. In efforts to give you an opportunity to respond to the needs you see, we would like to ask that you send an E-mail to [email protected] or a quick text to 281-761-3802. We will do our best to correct the problem as soon as possible. Thanks for your help in this matter.
