Overview

Originally, clubs introduced PSI (Player Score Input) to remove the irksome task which presented itself to handicap committees when it came to entering competition cards but over the past twenty years, PSI has developed into a much broader player interface which allows golfers to book tee times, sign-in and submit competition scores.

Users can also view and request handicap history and certificates, pay competition entry fees and view pictures of their playing partners.

CSI are now using contactless technologies to ensure their customers current and future needs can be met without unnecessary upgrades or expense. Contactless cards protect personal information and/or deliver a fast, secure transaction through a secure microcontroller and a small antenna which communicates with a contactless reader through a radio frequency interface.

How can PSI benefit your club?

A PSI system provides many additional benefits to your club whether your club is installing PSI for the first time or if you are upgrading an existing system to touch screen.

Multiple PSI systems can be operated on the same network for ease of use for members- have one area of the clubhouse (eg. ProShop) as the designated sign-n area, and score entry/leaderboard view in another, catering for team and individual events (qualifying and non-qualifying).

By installing terminals in the clubhouse, you encourage the ‘car park golfer’ to come into the clubhouse which not only increases social activity but also revenue to the clubs bar and catering facility.
