DESCRIPTION

This is an article about those north Indians who are not updated themselves yet and living in backward era. They still are being humiliated in some part of our country. My wish and vision is to bring a revolution which can change the atmosphere of our region. A change which will lead them to towards modern education, up-to-date personality, owner of a broad sight and good standard of living.

The Change dont know for how long we are going to tolerate such practices, which has always led to weak and powerless education system. Uttar

Pradesh (especially eastern Uttar Pradesh) has been experiencing presence of complete ignorance and senselessness in the modern

education system. Fluency in English-Speaking among people is rarely seen except in some parts of Uttar Pradesh. What could be the

reason that a student studying in 10th

standard in Uttar Pradesh could not converse better in English language even with 5th

    Standard student

of Maharashtra? Not only that, mostly in rural areas even though there are English medium schools, the teachers from those schools cannot

speak English language fluently. The concern here is not only about weakness in English Speaking. The entire course is not presented for

knowledge seeking but it is used only to get students prepared for their exams. Due to which, the children pass the examination but lack of

merit and extraordinariness exist among the students. This practice aren't be found in every school but it can be seen in some of the schools

that they try to ensure that the students are encouraged and prepared only to succeed in the examination. Be not unaware of the fact that

even if a student pass every class, it is not necessary that a student has prepared for a successful living.

No doubt, students should be acquiring good grades in the school curriculum, however, besides that there are many things which also

have to be learnt. We are not sure that in the future where we would be spending our lives. Hence, if we have to walk along shoulder to

shoulder and eyes-to-eyes with the world then students have to develop high level of maturity and multiple-talents. The saddest part is that

these facts and realities are probably considered only by a few people. Why majority of our students in the region lacking perfection? For

how long we will be deficient? These concern are being emphasised not to expose rather it is a bitter real truth. If this matter is accepted at

the earliest, there is possibility of speedy change.

During my school days, I used to feel that obtaining B.A. and M.A. degrees are great achievement and that is the reason everywhere,

there were flow of students towards Art Stream. Whomever (mostly) I saw, they were occupied in getting B.A. Degree someway. In 1958,

IISWBM (Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management) has started M.B.A. course in Kolkata city but people from our

region might have taken around two decades just to get information regarding this course. I am not designating that studying Art stream as

something bad or small accomplishment, the matter is regarding other stream at which neither they had knowledge nor they were interested

in knowing them as Art stream was easiest one. In fact graduating from Art Stream does not require much special effort. Of course, there

were some people who were achieving B.S.C. degree but only few people were able to actually utilise it somehow.

78-80 percent of our state population are living in rural-village areas. Around 70 percent are literate. The countrys most populous

state (Approximately equivalent to the population of Brazil), even today without any doubt, are still backward. If any youngster of Graduate

level visits place like Maharashtra, they are being humiliated by calling them as Bhaiyya, making them feel inferior. why this is happening,

did you ever try to understand the reason behind it? Are these Marathi people are visually impaired or may be there is really some weakness

which is seen with that person who is being called Bhaiyya? Indeed, in our state, some people are being raised in such a way that it

becomes a reason for the outside world to mock at such people.

There are two complex problems: First- Level of self-confidence in our people are very low or equal to nothing, Second- Their self-

confidence level reaches to sky which is illogical and baseless. That baseless self-confidence is created by them to feel themselves

    superior only.

In fact, everywhere atmosphere is same. From Primary level to college, there exist useless politics and conservatism. From students to

teachers, elementary to college, most people are thinking similarly. Consequently, there seems change is impossible (while change is only

difficult, not impossible) and success appears to them as way off. If a person or few people got inspired and try to bring change, they are

being ignored instead of encouraging them or they are humiliated by saying that the person is trying to show his superiority. Any logic

which gets accepted worldwide is denied in our region; moreover, they act as if the front person is a fool. Consequently, the well-wisher

loses hope and tries to stay away from the positive struggle.

There are many other weaknesses and deficiencies which are present and it is difficult to describe easily. Why is this still continuing?

Why in our region, peoples thought has been jammed? Even if, we are trying to pretend that we know the whole world, but the truth is our

environment is not world class and our education system is outdated. We have been living like a frog in well. These weaknesses have

resulted darkness in the atmosphere which has created stumbling blocks on the path to success.

This is the time; we are in need of awareness. Thus, there must be a revolution which should bring change among the children and

youth. As faster the mindset changes, faster there are bright future for our region. To bring change, we need to take good and mature social

worker as our role model. This requires that you move your vision too far, so that you can see the whole world how it runs. This is not an

impossible or difficult task but it depends on our efforts.

If really you would like for yourself or your family or whomever you believe in, that they enhance their power, that if they visit other

country they wont be viewed as inferior, then you have to try for every possible way to uplift their thought, morale and maintain their self-

confidence. Believe that we are still backward whereas there is a truth that it is not an impossible task to move forward for advancement.

You just have to take the responsibility of bringing change for yourself and your family then we shall see how higher we can reach.

Only a person or a family is a society itself. Unfortunately, because we do not want to admit our shortcoming, we blame it on society.

Saying what we can do, everywhere the environment is like that while this is just an excuse which is a way to deceive ourselves.

Following are some points which could be considered and implemented immediately; I hope youll benefit:

    1. You and your children need to progress in such a way that the children are left with wide variety of options from which they could choose their field of study for their bright future. Do not put pressure on children, only that they should not miss their school just

because youre paying the fees. Instead, make them aware regarding the type of education being accomplished at national and

international level and how education should be acquired, so that they can accommodate easily at any corner of the world.

    2. Over the years, we were going to school for nine months in a year or we were sending our children to the school. But when exam nears, children have to take help from the Guide. Thinking that taking help from guide has become obligatory, you arrange Guides

for them. Because of that children just mug up the whole syllabus and pass with flying colours. Remember that this kind of

students have no competency. So please stop this practice and teach children to make their daily notes as a Guide as well as always

ensure that the children whole year study from the textbook.

    3. From very beginning, familiarise your children with computer. If you are financially not able to buy a computer then arrange a computer by sharing the cost with the people of neighbourhood. Dont forget that computer has become an important part of

education. In future, pen will be rarely used. Exam will be written only by means of computer. In fact, some well established

institutions (distance universities) are already using computer to write the exams.

    4. Children should be encouraged to focus on English. If we cannot afford an English medium school, then make an arrangement for them to learn English. No matter, how sharp they may be in the curriculum but if they are weak in English then they will face

difficulties at different places and at some places they would even blush. If we try putting all our effort to study English then

learning English language will not be rocket science but it will be easiest one.

    5. In the neighbourhood or in city, if there is any competition, seminar or exhibition or any other events going to be held and it comes to your notice then push your children to participate in it.

    6. Keep yourself and your children away from the todays political environment. Certainly, in terms of general knowledge, they ought to know that how the political system of our country works.

    7. Arrange books which will inspire children as well as ensure that by reading those books they are learning something.

    8. When the children get summer holidays, make an effort to show them the outside world rather than leaving them free. During holidays, most of the students waste their time at street corner or at tea point. They are not wasting their time only but they even

embrace bad habits as well. Boasting regarding politics, they try to develop hollow self-confidence which blocks the way to

progress. Ensure that the children spend their time at right places.

    9. Do something which ends reluctance shown by children, such as asking them to give a speech on any occasion, face interview or make friends with genuine people etc.

    10. If any person is found having different (positive) thoughts and is moving towards success, then take hold of him immediately so you may get to learn something. There is a chance that he may give advice regarding you or your children which might prove to be

    beneficial.

At least, try to understand once, the importance of our State. God has given us too much, now only there is need for a change to be brought.

Just try to utilise properly each gift from nature, everything will change. If we determine that we have to move forward towards success,

and then believe that no obstacle will emerge. Even if any impediment occurs, then solution comes along.

My name is Mohammed Arif and I am resident of Rautpar Village. To start an organisation, there is a requirement for plethora of sources

as well as our time which also need to be spent. Since, I am not staying permanently in India, so I want to start an organisation in which

there will be neither registered members nor any office. Any individual, whose effort has created a change in the environment through

which people have been benefited; that individual will be the member of the organisation.

Your cooperation and contribution will discover such a dazzling rays through which present generation will experience a wonderful change

    and bright future.

My aim is that we all try to achieve at least those successes which are not impossible. To achieve this, there is neither requirement for

recommendation of politician nor huge amount of money.

I am not qualified to become a role model nor I am trying to be. Actually, Even I have to learn many things along with you and I will

continue learning. My purpose is that, I may perhaps become a medium for motivation for you through which I feel contented and get to

    learn something new.

If you like and agree or disagree regarding the above written concern or some questions are arising from your mind then kindly contact me.

Hoping that, if you have any question, I can assure that you will get a satisfying answer. I also hope that, I too may get the opportunity to
