We have been successful in registering and linking youth with livelihood through mobilization and counseling and creating opportunities.
Youth are employed and earning more income and have improved their life standard. Now they are confident about their lives.
We are working to support deprived and School dropout youth with livelihood opportunity in unorganized and Organized sectors.

Activity 1: Need Analysis
70% Population resides in Rural area
Most of the youth are unemployed or semi employed
They are confused about careers
Lack of awareness of opportunity.
92% Employment is in Unorganized Sector.
Activity 2: Youth Mobilization
• Mobilizing skilled, semiskilled and unskilled youth.
• Doing extensive motivational sessions and awareness campaign.
• Registering youth for capacity building and employment support.
• Preparing them for work readiness.
• Identifying SHG and JLG willing to do self employment.

Activity 3: Employer Registration

• Imparting skill training to the youth as per employers requirement.

Monthly and quarterly follow-up of employed youth and employers. Getting through their challenges and keep them motivating to sustain.

• Yuva Parivartan has been working on Skill development for Last 15 years
• Yuva Parivartan Livelihood Exchange was launched in July 2013 to match Livelihood Opportunities for Rural and Urban unemployed.

Youth linked with both Self and Wage employment. More earning in his family

4. Data collection: program indicators
List program indicators : – Youth Registered (Classified Data on qualification and Skill set)
– Youth Linked with Livelihood (Classified data on Organized and unorganized, wage and Self)
– Average Salaries and Income.
– Opportunities Created
Method of data collection: – Manual filing up of application form
– Youth meetings and Face to face interaction
– Maintaining MIS of beneficiaries
Frequency of data collection: – everyday as an ongoing process.
Who will collect the data: – Each associate for his responsible operational domain.

List indicators: – Youth Joined and sustained at work.
– Change in Income and improvement in quality of Life.

sources)
– Maintaining manual and electronic record of periodical follow up.

5. Impact evaluation design
Research question:
Job? Income? Education and Skills? willingness,? Family background? Peer pressure? Satisfaction with work and Interest area?
Intervention in:
Treatment: Counseling (Work readiness) and Skill development.
Control: We have control group but have not done any IE program with them. We will work on this aspect .
Sample Size:
Treatment: 2000 Youth
Control: 2000 Youth
