TOPICAL BIBLE STUDY at Bethany Lutheran Church, Wednesday mornings at 10:00 AM. Please come and join the group, led be Pastor Bill Huether, for this informal, informative study. For more information, call Shelly at 843-8711.

MASON COUNTY MOBILE FOOD PANTRY at Cornerstone Baptist Church on the third Tuesday of each month from 10:00 AM to noon. For more information, contact Betsy Reed at [email protected] or 231-843-7285.

HELP MINISTRY: we are desperately in need of Christians willing to show compassion to those in need of transportation to doctor appointments and treatments. Most are out-of-area appointments and those being served are without transportation, elderly and/or no longer able to drive. For some, this is a life or death need. HELP does reimburse drivers for their mileage and costs. Individuals (or couples) willing to volunteer should call HELP at 843-6811. —Gene McClellan, Executive Director

Congregational Meeting January 25, 2015

Dear Emanuel Family, My family and I are so grateful for all the Christmas cards, gifts and “goodies” you showered us with over the holidays. Your generosity is overwhelming! We are truly blessed to be part of the Emanuel family.

—Pastor Mick, Paul and the children

Many, many thanks for your generosity to us this Christmas season. Your kindness and thoughtfulness is very much appreciated.

The Emanuel Staff

Dear Pastor and member of the Church, We would like to wish you an all your families a Warmest Holiday Season and a Healthy, Happy New Year. God bless everyone!

Sincerely yours, The Vvong Family

Dear Pastors, The Carol Goff ceremony was exceptional. A nice blend of God’s lessons, a wonderful woman’s zest, stories of the living world, and a message that the sin of Adam for disobedience by touching a forbidden tree is taken away by the One who died on a “tree.” Wonderful choice of music and the pianist was excellent as well. Peace to you and yours in the New Year.

—Mark, Carol’s neighbor

The new “Discovery” series books

are in! You may pick yours up in

the Parish Office or on Sunday

morning at Bible Study.

All are welcome to join us Sundays

from 8:45-9:15 AM in the library

for this timely study.
