The theme was ‘Nesting and growth bringing life’ and teams from the Mission bought along things reflecting their contributions to building the Mission’s ‘nest’. Staff and clients wrote reflective words on leaves, included a pen reflecting the power of words and advocacy and a wise old owl formed the centrepiece. It was lovely to see so many people in attendance, thank you also to our parishioners for their support. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! A thousand thanks to all who have made this celebration of the Easter Triduum such a wonderful, enriching and prayerful experience: to all who shared in the ministries, who cleaned and set up, who sang and played, who welcomed & organised, who led and participated. Thank you for your support of Caritas’ Project Compassion program. Please leave the boxes at mass or the Parish Replacement Organ: Following the water damage to the church last year we received an insurance payment to replace the organ. The old organ was custom built around 1989 and was unfortunately unable to be fixed / parts replaced but we have been able to source a quality, second hard Allen Organ. Thank you again to Lou Bevilacqua for securing the insurance payment and a huge thank you to Ancita Beale for her tireless work in ensuring a quality replacement. Ancita will debut the organ at mass this Sunday. Spirituality in the Pub: “A Church free from Clericalism”. Dr Anne O’Brien, Wednesday 26 April at 7.30pm. Sandringham Hotel, cnr Beach Road & Melrose Street. All are welcome to gather for a meal from 6pm. Bookings essential - call the hotel on 9598 7255 and specify it’s for SIP. Rev. Dr. Brendan Reed presents ’The Catholic Identity Project - What can it offer the Church in these troubled times?’ 8pm Wednesday 3 May, The Pumphouse, 128 Nicholson St, Fitzroy. Meals available from 6pm. Our Parish supports the endeavours our the Royal Commission to bring healing to and justice for the victims of abuse.

Our first collection is the Thanksgiving Collection which supports the day to day running of the parish and covers salaries, insurance, church/faith/liturgy requisites and general outgoings of the parish office. Our second collection is the Presbytery Collection which supports our parish priest. Each quarter 25% is paid to the Priests’ Remuneration Fund (which we can call on when funds are running low - we do this most quarters). THANK YOU!
