Fr John and Carmel celebrated a beautiful Easter ritual for Sacred Heart Mission last Tuesday. The theme was ‘Nesting and growth bringing life’ and teams from the Mission bought along things reflecting their contributions to building the Mission’s ‘nest’. Staff and clients wrote reflective words on leaves, included a pen reflecting the power of words and advocacy and a wise old owl formed the centrepiece. It was lovely to see so many people in attendance, thank you also to our parishioners for their support.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! A thousand thanks to all who have made this celebration of the Easter Triduum such a wonderful, enriching and prayerful experience: to all who shared in the ministries, who cleaned and set up, who sang and played, who welcomed &
organised, who led and participated. May God continue to bless you all abundantly this Easter and always.

Replacement Organ: Following the water damage to the church last year we received an insurance payment to replace the organ. The old organ was custom built around 1989 and was unfortunately unable to be fixed / parts replaced but we have been able to source a quality, second hard Allen Organ. Thank you again to Lou Bevilacqua for securing the insurance payment and a huge thank you to Ancita Beale for her tireless work in ensuring a quality replacement. Ancita will debut the organ at mass this Sunday.
