from around the world battle it out to be named the FIFA World Champion. But away from

1. ENGLAND – Royal Tulip, Rio de Janeiro
The English squad will be making the Royal Tulip their home this summer – a stone’s throw
from São Conrado beach in Rio de Janeiro. The hotel offers 418 luxurious apartments with

2. SPAIN – Master Express, Curitiba
Defending champions Spain will be making the Alfredia Gottardi ‘Caju’ Training Centre in
Cutiriba their base this summer, with eight private pitches for the team’s preparations. Fans
wishing to follow the Spanish team can stay at the Master Express, in the heart of Curitiba.

3. THE NETHERLANDS – Caesar Park, Ipanema
Obviously hoping to enjoy the sun, the Dutch national team have chosen the Caesar Park

5. ITALY – Portobello Resort & Safari, Mangaratiba
The Italian team are heading to the coast this summer, to Portobello Resort & Safari, just
outside the port town of Mangaratiba. With an outdoor pool surrounded by palm trees and

6. FRANCE – Hotel JP, Ribeirão Preto
The French national team will be staying in Ribeirão Preto, in Hotel JP. The city is nicknamed
the ‘Brazilian California’ for its good weather and with a range of rooms and suites set

7. GERMANY – Toko Village, Porto Seguro
Unhappy with the amenities available in Brazil, the German national team chose to build
their own bespoke private training ground and hotel on the coast of Bahia, called Campo

8. PORTUGAL – The Royal Palm Plaza Resort, Campinas
