Only 15 minutes’ drive from the octagon, Glenfalloch can accommodateyour entire wedding day.

Picture canapés on the lawn after your wedding ceremony, relaxed guestswatching on while your photographer guides you around the gardens. And,when you’re ready, transition into your reception by simply stepping insidethe newly-refurbished chalet restaurant.

Glenfalloch – Gaelic for “hidden valley” – was established in 1871 as agentleman’s country residence. Today, the garden’s maturity meansphotographers are spoilt for choice, when it comes to both lighting andbackdrops. A garden of national significance, its 12 hectares of trees,gardens and lawn provide a private and stunning backdrop for all aspectsof your wedding day


Venue facilities: ceremony

Glenfalloch is a genuine four seasons garden – each season is distinguishedby its own colours and fragrances. And, by virtue of its position on the northside of the Otago peninsula, the garden enjoys all-day sun and is shelteredfrom prevailing winds.

There are two bridal lawns available for outdoor ceremonies. These areexclusively available to couples enjoying their whole wedding at Glenfalloch.

Lawn hire: $200

• Main Bridal Lawn: for large groups, located behind the Chalet restaurant• Front Lawn: for smaller groups, located in front of the Chalet restaurant

Whether you choose to have your ceremony on-site or at another location,your guests can enjoy the gardens or relax in the courtyard of the Chaletrestaurant, allowing the bridal party to break away for photos

The elegant Chalet restaurant was recently given a stylish makeover; you’llfind a light, open and modern venue, overlooking the gardens and harbour.A large stone fireplace, extensive deck area and sheltered courtyard allcontribute to making the Chalet a space where guests can relax and find acomfortable spot to catch up with friends and family.

The Chalet restaurant can cater for up to 130 guests and its open plan layout means it can be configured to suit nearly any seating requirements.A marquee can be added to cater for larger crowds

It can be a set menu, shared platters suitable for group dining or a buffet.We provide a lovely, relaxed approach to serving food

Our menu options enhance the chosen season of your wedding and can beinspired by the ‘food story’ you want to tell. By taking control of foodchoices, your guests can completely relax. following pages. Our staff can work with you to customise any dishes listed and

help you choose the perfect menu for your special day.

• Shared platters suitable for table groups (8-12 guests per table)- from $68

• A buffet menu for large groups (60-140 guests)- from $72

• Canapé and finger food options to accompany pre-dinner drinks- from $5

NB: menu items are based on seasonal fruits and vegetables and may not be available at certain times of the year. Recipes may be modified subject to availability and supply.

Just like designing your own menu, we offer flexibility and choice when it comesto deciding the types of drinks you want to offer your guests.

You may choose to:

• Have champagne for your Bridal party on arrival

• Run a tab and choose which drinks to offer guests

• Offer a limited selection only, such as beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks

• A cash bar for guests to purchase their own drinks

Venue hire inclusions

The standard venue hire for Glenfalloch is $1500. Monday to Friday venue hire is $950. These prices include GST.

A surcharge may apply for venue hire on statutory public holidays.

We specialise in taking care of all aspects of your wedding; all the set upis included and help is always at hand. Your venue hire at Glenfallochincludes the following:
