Dear Palmetto IIA Members and Friends,
I cannot believe the chapter year is coming to a close. I want
to say thank you to everyone who helped make this year a great one!
The Palmetto Chapter would not have been nearly as successful
without your ideas, suggestions and volunteer efforts. Special
thanks to a team of wonderful volunteers – Bethany Parler, Stacie
Davis, Grace
Bravo, Mandy Bumgarner, Michael Cardenas, Michael Turbyfill,
Barbara Gaydos, Rick Pace, Andra Lunsford, Cheryl Reeder, Susan
McFarland, Salena Mulliken and Joanne Payton. You guys
rocked!!!!
During this past year, we subscribed to a new Event Management
Tool which tremendously helped with registrations, invoice
payments, confirmations, etc. We continued our efforts to celebrate
you as you achieved your certifications and began planning social
events for you to get to know one another and have an opportunity
to network.

May is International Internal Audit

Month? The IIA
encourages all members to support their profession by promoting
the
internal audit profession to their leadership, board of
directors, customers,
students, and business community in general.
The IIA has produced the IIA’s Building Awareness Toolkit which
features creative ideas, tips, and easy-to-
use tools and templates for individuals and chapters to promote
the profession during International Internal
Audit Awareness Month and all year round. You can download the
