Dear Jerry,Thank you so much for coming to Jim's service. It meant so much to have you there.It makes me smile to remember the times the two of you would argue about baseball. Even though you were a die-hard Giants fan, he loved you anyway!

I know it would have meant so much to Jim to know that you made the trip out from the coast. I hope you know special you were to him. Jim often came across as a gruff man, but you and I both know what a tender heart he had.
