PRINCIPAL’S REPORT

PBL Excursion

This Friday we will be attending our PBL excursion

in Dubbo. Please make sure you have returned your

notes to be able to attend.

Sunglasses

Next year each student will be given a pair of

sunglasses to be used as necessary at school. A big

thank you to our P and C for their contribution to

the cost.

Market Day

Next Wednesday we will be having our PBL market

day. We will be having an early lunch on the day

and all students will be given a sausage sandwich at

no cost. We are looking forward to the activities on

the day!

Wifi Upgrades

We are currently in the process of upgrading our

school wifi. This will give students increased access

to technology throughout the school and allowing

for an increase in flexible learning spaces.

Cooler Classrooms

We are on the list! We have been identified as one

of the schools in need of an upgrade to our air

conditioning units. This will take place in all

classrooms in the near future.

Kind regards,

Laing and the class have organised a final assembly

which we look forward to.

Completing Primary school is a wonderful

milestone, and we wish our Year 6 students all the

best for their secondary schooling.

having a Christmas Party.

Students are invited to wear a

Christmas accessory such as a

Homework

There will be no homework for the

rest of term. However it would be

wonderful if children could please

continue to read each night and over

We also ask families to please check bookshelves,

under beds, in bags and all those odd places for any

5/6 News

Last week 5/6 had a fantastic time on our Blue

Mountains Excursion. We experienced amazing

challenges, ate lots of food, lots of laughs, belting

out the tunes on the bus, learning new things and

facing our fears. We visited The Bathurst

Goldfields, Flipout, Jenolan Caves, Scenic World,

watched The Grinch, Grose River Tree Top

Adventures, Laser Tag and Bathurst Aqua Park. We

would like to thank Nadine Mortimer for her

amazing treats and Mrs McMahon for all her help.

Year 6 Graduation

Tomorrow, Wednesday 12th December, the Year 6

Graduation Assembly will be held in the 5/6 room

at 11:30am followed by the Year 6 Graduation

Lunch at the Bowling Club at 1.00pm. Year 6

students may leave with their parents to get ready

straight after assembly. This is a very special event

for these students and we look forward to seeing

family and friends at the assembly.
