Remembrance Day marks the 98th anniversary of the Armistice that ended the First World War (1914–18). Students in K-2 will observe a minute’s silence at 11.10am after their morning tea break. Students in 3-6 will observe a minute’s silence at 11.00am in their classroom. Parent input is sought as part of our annual review and for 2016 planning purposes. All parents are encouraged to complete this short survey https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2016MosmanParentSurvey on aspects of school life related to communication, student wellbeing, and learning. The survey is open until NOVEMBER 30 and your time is much appreciated. The culmination of ArtFest will take place on Saturday evening starting at 6.30pm. The evening will be a fantastic opportunity to look at the students amazing art works, bid on class artwork and enjoying the live entertainment whilst having a picnic with friends. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the parents who have assisted the students in creating the combined class art work and the teachers for their support and effort in developing the individual art works with students. CREATIVE & PERFORMING ARTS In week 2 of this term, the Mosman Public Drama Group, performed at the State Drama Festival, at the Seymour Centre. Our skit is on NAPLAN and we are all teachers. The title of our skit is Negative Anti Purposeful Learning and Needs. It was hard getting into State. Our journey began with a woman firstly coming to our school and auditioning our skit. She gave it an A+! We performed at NIDA for the Arts Alive Drama Festival. The best skits at NIDA and around NSW were selected to perform at the State Festival! And that was us! On Thursday in week 2, the Drama Group had a drama workshop. Our drama teacher, Russel was very funny and great at acting! We played fun games and activities. Russel also taught us some very good acting tips. That night, we performed our skit. On Friday night, we performed again at the VIP show. This was our last performance ever, so we gave it our all. I had a great time performing on stage. I'm so glad I chose to be a part of the Drama group this year. Olivia S

The role also manages the Mini-Mos Website. This includes marketing the website and driving traffic to it through free and paid advertising sites, updating its content relevance and designing its style.
