Climate protection as innovation driver

In the coming years, requests on climate protection and energy efficiency will be an important innovation driver. We regard it our task to contribute also in the future to an environment worth living in. We are prepared to face these requirements by new ideas and further development of our prod-ucts. At the same time the growing needs for technical solutions provide chances to strengthen successfully our position in the more and more intense global competition.

The market

Our customers come from different industrial and economic sectors. These include the automotive industry, the printing and the heavy industry, the laboratory technology and the robotics.

Our clients are both regional small enterprises as well as global corporations.

Economic growth

The permanent improvement of our production processes, the integration of new, selected and specialised staff and the development of new markets allow us to continue our successful company policy.

Intelligent solutions for individual requirements.

Since its establishment, TEKA has constantly expanded the product range. We started with suction and filtering devices for welding shops. In the meantime this sector contains an extensive standard programme of mobile and stationary filtering devices and accessories.

Furthermore, oil mist separators, high-vacuum devices, cutting and grinding benches, gas cutting benches and centralised filter units be-long to the delivery programme. Devices for workplaces in the soldering, laser and milling industry (e. g. dental and medical technology, electronics industry and laboratory technology) are also part of our range of products. The programme is completed by special suction and filtering units for plotters and by a multitude of elements for visibility protection and soundproofing.

Each unit can be supplied in different designs and sizes as standard. With customised solutions we flexibly respond to special conditions. As a matter of course, we also offer the planning and conception for complex projects.

Mobile suction and filtering systems

17About us Innovative products Individual service Certified quality For an environment worth living in

Individual applicationsThe TEKA mobile suction and filter units enable you to flexibly adapt to changing demands. For almost every situation that requires dust and smoke extraction we offer adequate solutions: metal processing (welding, lasering), electronic industry (soldering – see left photo below), dental and medical technology and the printing industry (plotting).

The TEKA HANDYCART (see central photo below), for instance, is a compact, space-saving unit used for welding of small components. A different version of the same unit is powerful enough for torch extraction.

Professional technology On the other hand we offer high end mobile cartridge filter units like our STRONGMASTER (see picture on the right side) and CARTMASTER. These units allow long lasting extractions of welding processes with non-alloyed metals and precious metals, especially along with strong smoke emissions.

Not only smoke and dust can be dealt with by our mobile units, also other health affecting emissions such as oil mist can be extracted by suction units with e. g. the TEKA OILCUBE (see photo below on the right side).

Stationary and central suction and filtering systems

High-end solutionsThe business segment of stationary and central systems offers units for medium and high emis-sions including either manual or fully automated dedusting. Our product range contains various wall-mounted models that can be set up with up to two suction arms or cranes.

Additionally, we offer high-performance central systems which are fixed in the construction area allowing synchronous suction at multiple work places via a well constructed pipe system. Our technical department works out the best suited concept for each customer.

Clean ambient airAll central units are equipped with an integrated automatic filter-control. The modern, easy-to-use PULSE CONTROL conforms to the highest technical requirements.

Our monumental AIRTECH filter system offers supplementary air filtration, especially for high-emission work processes. It features a cluster of powerful nozzles on the upper part of the unit.

Gas cutting benches /Welding and grinding benches

21About us Innovative products Individual service Certified quality For an environment worth living in

The modular principleTEKA gas cutting benches are set up modularly and come in standard sizes ranging from 2 to 24 m². We routinely construct oversized tables as well. The modules are assembled swiftly at the customer’s facility. If combined with our suction units they grant secure protection of hazardous matter during thermal cutting procedures.

We offer various welding benches, such as a special training welding bench primarily used in welding schools with a highly flexible use.

Our grinding benches feature rear and bottom suction and have optional lamella siding which allow ergonomical processing of oversized metals. Because of the renunciation of metal sides even long and bulky items can be processed ergo-nomically.

BGIA-certified suction and filtering systems

23About us Innovative products Individual service Certified quality For an environment worth living in

Highest test-categorySomething we are very proud of at TEKA is our growing amount of certified filter units. The BGIA certificate, awarded by the German institute for work safety, is featured by several of our suction units with the highest welding class available (W3).

The welding class W3 makes sure that our units reliably clean emissions of low-, medium- and high-alloyed steels (e.g. chrome/nickel concen-tration of 30 %) with a suction capacity of more than 99 %.

International standardThe certificate is subject to the international norm DIN EN ISO 15012-1 that regulates the safety and health protection of welding procedures and similar processes plus requirements, testing and labelling of air filtration systems.

Certified systemsCurrently, three mobile units of our product range are certified: the CAREMASTER, the CLEANMASTER and the STRONGMASTER. Besides, several of our stationary systems are BGIA-certified, too: the CARTMASTER for wall-mounting, the FILTERCUBE series 2N– 4H and the central cartridge filter unit ZPF-9H.

Suction and collecting elements

25About us Innovative products Individual service Certified quality For an environment worth living in

For flexible applicationsWe at TEKA offer a huge variety of extraction arms and collecting elements. The diameter ranges from 25 mm for medical, dental technol-ogy and cosmetical needs up to wider sizes for stronger smoke development.

The TEKA product range also contains suction arms and hoses made of materials optimized for different applications, such as chemical resistant, antistatic or aluminium arms.

The front end of every suction arm has got a hood or nozzle attached. Here too we offer a multitude of varieties: suction pens, round, rectangular, transparent, opaque coloured, aluminium/polypropylene/plexiglas nozzles and more.

Our collecting elements are available for table-, wall- or ceiling mounting and are directly attached to the filter units and aligned adequately by their joints or an external crane console.

We would be glad to advise you in finding the appropriate solution for your special situation.

26

Fans and ducting

27About us Innovative products Individual service Certified quality For an environment worth living in

Dynamic and sturdyTEKA fans are efficiently usable for aeration and deaeration of work spaces and construction halls. At the intake the hazardous emissions are ex-tracted by means of a hose or a tube connected to an attached collecting element and released through the outlet and connected tube system. Alternatively, fresh air can also be transported through the system the other way around and be deployed at work spaces.

Our high-quality fans, made of sheet steel or cast in silumin, are robustly constructed and therefore appropriate for continuous use. In addition a smooth operation is guaranteed because of the static and dynamic impact.

The fair-priced, universally usable fans are part of our mobile exhaust fans as well. They form the heart of our ergonomically constructed filter units, combined with filter cartridges or pocket filters.

For optimal air supplyThe duct and tube systems of TEKA are the veins of every central filter system. They transport the gases almost loss-free from the work spaces to the filter unit. If required, the duct systems can be installed quickly and easily by our technicians.

Visibility protection and soundproofing

29About us Innovative products Individual service Certified quality For an environment worth living in

For an integrated solution To complete our choice of work protection in the field of air hygiene, TEKA also offers an assort-ment of visibility protection and sound proofing to you: panel screens of various sizes, dividers with adjustable side pieces, lamella curtains made out of different materials, cut right for your special demands.

Similar to a building kit you can combine sound proofing screens to individual cabin systems containing multiple welding or grinding work spaces.

You can achieve an additional sound proofing for grinding jobs if you choose one of our roofed cabin solutions. The cabins are fabricated out of 50 mm deep panels. Besides the standard sizes of 4 to 60 m we offer special solutions, too.

Our team is looking forward to consult you.
