• This is an example of a student profile.• Notice the Links at the top of the screen one of which will

be green. These are the profile pages. You may not have access to all of these pages due to your security.

• Please note that changes made to data on these pages does not change data in Powerschool.

Page 11: Technology Tools for Teachers: Enrich and NWEA Reporting Jan 2 … · the presentation together. • We will start with Enrich and move to NWEA and compare ... (linked) and it will

• Profile – gives specific information about a student. Most important GPA (HS Only) and Enrollment History. Please use Powerschool as the authoritative source for Demographic information and contact information.

• Tests – All test results that have been loaded into Enrich. It will show every administration of the test. This will become important if you run a class report and you do not see an individual, it might be because that administration was missing or the child did not participate in that testing. Please be aware that you can also click on the test administration and get a lot more information about that test. The first screen is summary information.

Page 12: Technology Tools for Teachers: Enrich and NWEA Reporting Jan 2 … · the presentation together. • We will start with Enrich and move to NWEA and compare ... (linked) and it will

• Transcript – shows the current grades that are being reported from Powerschool. This area also include a bar graph that shows how this students grades compared to the rest of the class. It also shows past grading history. Again Powerschool is the authoritative source on all current and past grades. Always please note in this view the Grading Period that is being displayed.

• The Academic Plans area is not currently being used. • Files allows anyone who has access the ability to attach

files to the students records. This is currently not being done outside of Special Services.

Page 13: Technology Tools for Teachers: Enrich and NWEA Reporting Jan 2 … · the presentation together. • We will start with Enrich and move to NWEA and compare ... (linked) and it will

• Programs – Mainly used by Special Services only but other Districts use it for other programs. At this time please do not add Programs outside of Special Services because the purple flashlight will display for anyone that has a program and we would like to reserve this for Special Services.

• Back to the classroom for a moment, down the right hand side of the screen are a few report links.

• The most important one that we will focus on today are the Test Score Reports. The other two are Grade Reports and Coded Reports.

• Grade Reports give a summary of past or current year grades compared to other classes in the District with the same course code or just show a quick glance at your current class report card grades.

• Coded reports may not be available for all securities and is only used for special cases.

Page 15: Technology Tools for Teachers: Enrich and NWEA Reporting Jan 2 … · the presentation together. • We will start with Enrich and move to NWEA and compare ... (linked) and it will

• The first option is Performance Groups (One Score). This report displays the results for one test, one administration and one score for your class.

• If you have questions as to what score to use you can go to a students profile and look to see which score would best fit your needs.

• Once the report runs it will display the data in the best format it can. Notice that the results are blue and underlined that means that they can be clicked on (linked) and it will take you directly to the students testing profile.

Page 16: Technology Tools for Teachers: Enrich and NWEA Reporting Jan 2 … · the presentation together. • We will start with Enrich and move to NWEA and compare ... (linked) and it will

• The second option is Performance Groups (Two Scores) this allows you to compare two test scores for any test and any administration for your class.

• Please note that the data may be displayed in columns or rows based on the type of data it is.

• Also be sure if you do not get data for one of the tests go into a student profile to make sure you have selected the correct Administration or Score.

Page 17: Technology Tools for Teachers: Enrich and NWEA Reporting Jan 2 … · the presentation together. • We will start with Enrich and move to NWEA and compare ... (linked) and it will

• The next report on the class screen are the CAP or Class Achievement Profile reports. This will display MAP scores for the current administration with their Target Growth.

• This is a good quick report but we would recommend NWEA for this information.

• Again once the report is displayed click on the Student Name to take you to the Tests Profile page or the score itself to take you directly to that test and administration detail.

Page 18: Technology Tools for Teachers: Enrich and NWEA Reporting Jan 2 … · the presentation together. • We will start with Enrich and move to NWEA and compare ... (linked) and it will

• The next report on the class screen is the Class Score Sheet report.• This report gives a lot of information and can be very hard to read but it can

also be very useful. Please be sure to scroll to the right to get all of the information.

• Also please provide this report time to load it takes a little while to compile.• The report and a few others have a save at the bottom that should allow you

to export the data into other programs such as Excel however this feature on this report is having issues at the current time.

Page 19: Technology Tools for Teachers: Enrich and NWEA Reporting Jan 2 … · the presentation together. • We will start with Enrich and move to NWEA and compare ... (linked) and it will

• Naming: Please be as descriptive as you can and include the data and initials in the report name. These reports can be saved and shared to others so if you create a great report you can share it with everyone.

• Student Information: Here you can choose to show the individual students or Summarize the information by any number of items such as Gender, Ethnicity, Zip etc.

• Filters: This is where if you have access to more than just a classroom you can filter your results by grade level or by location. Classroom teachers would be restricted to their current students.

• The Web-MAP website is https://teach.mapnwea.org

• Everyone who has given MAP should have been sent via email a login.

• If you do not have a login and need one please open a ticket with Technology.

Page 29: Technology Tools for Teachers: Enrich and NWEA Reporting Jan 2 … · the presentation together. • We will start with Enrich and move to NWEA and compare ... (linked) and it will

• MAP reports will just give data on the MAP testing. No other testing information is maintained in that system.

• It is also very limited on its demographic information, which again should come primarily from Powerschool.

Page 30: Technology Tools for Teachers: Enrich and NWEA Reporting Jan 2 … · the presentation together. • We will start with Enrich and move to NWEA and compare ... (linked) and it will

• Under the MAP Reports area you should see a screen similar to this.

• If you scroll on down the page you will see Resources and Guides under this area I would point out two links specifically.

• MAP Reports Summary gives what each report does and how it will beneficial.

• MAP Report Reference (Samples) actually allows you to see a sample report.

Page 32: Technology Tools for Teachers: Enrich and NWEA Reporting Jan 2 … · the presentation together. • We will start with Enrich and move to NWEA and compare ... (linked) and it will

• Make sure if you are attempting to use MAP Data for Small Group, when you run the reports be sure to choose “By Goal” this will break the students into groups by their performance in the smaller goals areas. For instance Math breaks down to:

• Algebraic Thinking and Operations• Number Sense and Operations• Measurement and Data Analysis• Geometry

Page 34: Technology Tools for Teachers: Enrich and NWEA Reporting Jan 2 … · the presentation together. • We will start with Enrich and move to NWEA and compare ... (linked) and it will

• The ASG (Achievement Status and Growth report) is a very powerful report and can show you both projection data (projected RIT) and summary data (actual RIT and growth).• This report can give you a quick and easy look at

how your class did versus another testing or how they should do on an upcoming test.

Page 35: Technology Tools for Teachers: Enrich and NWEA Reporting Jan 2 … · the presentation together. • We will start with Enrich and move to NWEA and compare ... (linked) and it will

• One of the strongest tools in the MAP system is the Learning Continuum (was Descartes).

Page 36: Technology Tools for Teachers: Enrich and NWEA Reporting Jan 2 … · the presentation together. • We will start with Enrich and move to NWEA and compare ... (linked) and it will

• As you can see it breaks the Goal Areas down even further.

Page 37: Technology Tools for Teachers: Enrich and NWEA Reporting Jan 2 … · the presentation together. • We will start with Enrich and move to NWEA and compare ... (linked) and it will

• If expanded you will see the RIT bands and what they should have mastered at this level. It also will display the students that are currently at this RIT band.

Page 38: Technology Tools for Teachers: Enrich and NWEA Reporting Jan 2 … · the presentation together. • We will start with Enrich and move to NWEA and compare ... (linked) and it will

• On this same screen you can also see the next RIT Band so if you want to move the students to the next band you can see what areas will need to be mastered to move up.
