WE WOULD LIKE TO WELCOME YOU to the second annual Summit on Government and Technology, a collaboration between the New Zealand government and the tech sector to provide an opportunity for senior leaders to come together, share success stories, compare notes and learn from each other.
Throughout both the government and the New Zealand tech sector there is a shared desire to use technology to improve public services and transform the citizen’s experience. Real transformation and better public services will only come through a mature relationship between government and the industry through partnership and innovation.
This year’s Summit will focus on the massive gains still to be had from innovative uses of the cloud and of the growing amount of data at our fingertips. We look forward to working with you, the leaders from within government and across the tech sector, as we spend a very focused day discussing, debating and challenging each other to solve today’s challenges and prepare for tomorrow.
