Deakin University International Scholarships Program (DUISP) 2012Deakin University invites high achieving students to apply for scholarships of $A5000 per year through the Deakin University International Scholarships Program.
These scholarships are offered as a tuition fee reduction per year based on an annual full-time enrolment of eight credit points/units. Scholarships are available for undergraduate or postgraduate courses commencing in 2012 in Trimesters 1, 2 or 3, subject to availability.

Eligibility and selectionApplications will only be accepted from international students who are eligible to study in Australia with a student visa and are making an application to study at Deakin University for the first time.
Scholarship applicants will need to provide evidence of high achievement in their previous studies. Study Abroad students can apply for scholarships for one or two trimesters.
How to apply Your scholarship application will be assessed with your course application, so do not delay. Get your application in as early as possible to increase your chances of being offered a scholarship.
To apply for a DUISP award, you need to download and fill in the application form on the back of this sheet and attach it to your Deakin University course application form. If you have already sent a course application to Deakin, just complete the reverse side of this form and send it in to your admissions officer, or apply online.

Please note that while eligibility is based on academic merit, the DUISP scholarships are also subject to quotas. Therefore, by submitting your application to Deakin International and accepting your offer as soon as possible, your chances of receiving a confirmed DUISP place will be increased.
