Ability in English is important to communicate with other people in our everyday life, since English is international language, it uses in all aspect of life such as in business, education, although in social intercourse. Our fluency in English helps us to improve our social confidence. The problems identified in this research are: What kind of games are used in learning English vocabulary at ILP Depok?.How are the games presented in classroom to students in learning English Vocabulary at ILP Depok ? And why does ILP Depok use games in teaching Vocabulary? The objectives of the study are: To find out the games that the teachers used in order to increase their students vocabularies at ILP Depok. To know about games are presented in classroom to students in learning English Vocabulary at ILP Depok. To find out the reasons ILP Depok uses games in teaching vocabulary. The Writer used the field research and library research to complete the accomplishment of the scientific research paper. The result is using games can be easy and interesting for learners to learn English, so that students can get some impressions in some words, so they do not have to memorize word by word or feel forced. Indirectly, they can remember some words and use it.

    Introduction

    Inoureverydaylife,weseekentertainmentinmanydifferentways.Somepeopleprefersittingat

    hometowatchingtelevisions.Someotherpeopleprefertoreadnewspaper,magazineornovel.Novelis

    akindofliteraryworkthatcouldbeenjoyedbyeveryone.Novelisnotonlyasentertainmentbutalsoas

    aguidanceofourlivesbecausemanynovelscontainalotofmoralmessages.Readingnovelisoneway

    toappreciateofliteraturework.Novelcanrepresenthumanslifeandcanbeinspirationsforthosewho

    haveread it.Therearesomanykindsofnovel,theyareromance,comedy,tragedy,horroretc.Novel

    consistsoftheme,setting,character,pointofviewandplot.

    In this study, thewriteranalyzes the intrinsicelementofnovelespecially the settingsasa

    whole in thenovelentitledTheGodfatherbyMarioPuzobecause thewriterwants toanalyze the

    novelcomprehensively.

    InTheGodfather setting takesplace inhisownhometown,NewYorkCityand in themiddleof

    1940s.Atthattime,NewYork isbeingreignedneitherby localgovernmentnorthepolice.Themafia

    familiesfullycontrolthatcityineveryinchasithas.Theforceofeveryfamiliesclashneverendsbattle

    thatwilldeterminethesoleconquerorofthecity.TheGodfatheriswrittenbyMarioPuzo,asanItalian

    immigrantwhoarrivedinAmericaintheearly19th,MarioPuzowasborninanimmigrantfamilyinNew

    York City.His fatherwas a railway trackman. Puzo livedwith his six brothers and sisters above the

    railwayyards.Thediscoveryofpublic librariesandtheworldof literature ledPuzo inthedirectionof

    writing.PuzothenstudiedattheNewSchoolforSocialResearch,NewYork,andatColumbiaUniversity.
