Process Four funded teaching assistants served a total of 379 students during A. Teaching assistants improved overall student performance by: *Providing pre- and post-exam review sessions *Maintaining regular office hours and communication with students *Working with students in class during small-group discussions of texts B. Teaching assistants improved the pass rate for the classes—in consultation with faculty—by: *Targeting students most at risk of failure/poor grades with additional mentoring (including discipline-specific study and note-taking skills, reading comprehension strategies, etc.)
