ApplicationA series of non-metallic connectorsdesigned to provide a liquidtight sealwhen terminating liquidtight non-metal-lic conduit (U.L. Type B) or liquidtightnon-metallic tubing to a box or enclo-sure with knockout opening or athreaded hub.

Plastic Bullef Liquidtight Fittings Feature• Connector assembles to conduit

without disassembly and is designedto be installed with a positive installa-tion criteria (gland bottoms on bodyshoulder).

• Rugged low profile non-metallic bodyand gland construction (1); the con-nector is equipped with a steel locknutto firmly secure connector to box or anenclosure and a sealing "O" ring.

• Captivated sealing "O" ring (2) withpredetermined compression for areliable seal at enclosure.

• Connector ferrule designed to acceptvariations in conduit inside diameterand is tolerant of field conduit cuts (3).

• The profile of ferrule is designed toreduce friction between conduit I.D.and ferrule (4) allowing conduit toseat properly for an effective seal.

• Outer surface of the clamping fingersprovided with friction reducing ridges(5) for ease of installation; the innersurface is designed with conduit bit-ing teeth to enhance clamping andsealing action (6).

• Performance of connectors tested tosimulate adverse installation conditions.

• Provides a double sealing action (7).• Elongated gland nut profile (8) de-

signed to provide additional strain relieffor 90° pull and an easy hand grip.

• Performance of connector unaffectedby exposure to detergents, cleaners,and sanitizers commonly encoun-tered in food processing plants andtypical industrial environment; alsounaffected by cutting fluids, wiringpulling compounds and Marine envi-ronment. The connector meets indus-try standards for cold impact andsimulated hammer blow.
