The ground wire iseasily installed using only an Alien headwrench.Liquidtight connectors with grounding lugscan also be provided with Appleton's "STN,""STL" and "Female ST" Connectors (referto factory).

"STG" Series Liquidtight Neoprene SealingGaskets (Page 10) for use where "ST" fit-tings are terminated into J.I.C. boxesor panelboards. Sizes 1/z" thru 6" fit allAppleton "ST" series connectors.The unique Appleton ferrule, long theindustry leader, provides maximum surfacecontact for better sealing and grounding andin preventing sleeving. This exclusive ferruledesign has now been modified even furtherby the addition of longer, more pronouncedthreads that provide over four times ULpull-out requirements.Underwriters Laboratories list all AppletonST STB and STN series connectors up tothe 4" size. The 5" and 6" size connectors,though manufactured to the same rigidstandards, cannot be listed as UL does notyet recognize or list larger size conduit. Theyare suitable for hazardous location use ascovered by the National Electrical Code:Article 501 -4 (b): Class I, Di v. 2; Article 502-4(a) 2: Class II, Div. 1 and 2; Article 503-3(a): Class III, Div. 1 and 2.
