WELCOME TO THETAVISTOCK CUP

Celebrating 10 years of excellence

Welcome to the 2013 Tavistock Cup, the World Golf and Country Club Championship. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Tavistock Cup is pleased to host six teams and showcase some of the best in golf.

This year, the Tavistock Cup welcomes newcomers Oak Tree National and Primland golf clubs alongside Albany, Isleworth, Lake Nona and Queenwood. Supporting an international powerhouse of 24 players, these teams will battle for club glory and the title of World Golf and Country Club Champion.

What began as a friendly interclub match between cross-town clubs Isleworth and Lake Nona a decade ago has evolved into golf ’s ultimate global showdown, bringing together the best golf and country clubs represented by the biggest names in golf.

An annual fixture on the PGA TOUR scene and a player and fan favorite, the Tavistock Cup remains one of the most intimate events and toughest tickets in professional sports because of its distinctive format, world-class surroundings, rich traditions and commitment to charity.

The Tavistock Cup’s invitation-only gallery and no-ropes structure is unlike anything else in the golf world, giving spectators the rare opportunity to stroll the fairways alongside their favorite players.

In the continuing spirit of Tavistock Cup’s expanding team rivalries, spectators wear the official colors of their home club to show their support. Adding to the tournament’s lighthearted festivities are the two boldest voices of golf commentary, Golf Channel’s David Feherty and Gary McCord, whose playful player introductions at the first tee have become a highlight of the event over the last decade.

Among its most touching customs, the tournament awards the Payne Stewart Salver Award in memory of the late champion golfer and Isleworth member to the Tavistock Cup player with the lowest score in the final round.

Since the inaugural matches in 2004, this officially sanctioned PGA TOUR event has also generated millions for philanthropy, including various player charities as well as education, health and human services, youth development and community programs designed to grow the game of golf.

We extend our appreciation to this year’s Tavistock Cup contestants, volunteers, spectators and staff and recognize our proud partners Citi Private Bank, HUGO BOSS and Knight Capital Group for their generous support.

We thank you for joining us at Isleworth Golf & Country Club for the 2013 Tavistock Cup.

History of the Tavistock Cup This year marks the 10-year anniversary of Tavistock Cup. As we reflect on the first decade of

this unique interclub team competition that has become an annual fixture on the PGA TOUR, it’s worth remembering the significant events that shaped what has become recognized as the World Golf and Country Club Championship. A lot happened in 10 years. Here are the

moments that mattered most in Tavistock Cup’s coming-of-age story.

During the inaugural Tavistock Cup, Team Lake Nona’s Nick Faldo pulled off a rousing shot when his tee shot on Lake Nona’s Hole #17 hit the flagstick and nearly fell into the hole.

Following a sudden-death playoff between Team Isleworth’s Lee Janzen and Tiger Woods and Team Lake Nona’s Ernie Els and Retief Goosen, the Tavistock Cup matches ended in a tie, the first and only time in tournament history. Golf Channel’s colorful commentators David Feherty and Gary McCord began calling the action at Tavistock Cup in their own irreverent and amusing way, a tradition that continues today.

For the first time, Tavistock Cup spectators wore Isleworth Red or Lake Nona Blue to show their support for their home club, and Lake Nona and Isleworth expanded from eight-player to 10-player teams. This year, the annual Tavistock Gala was launched to raise money for Tavistock Cup charities benefitting education, health and human services, youth development and community programs designed to grow the game of golf.

One of the key shots in Team Lake Nona’s win, Henrik Stenson’s remarkable 65-foot putt sunk on Lake Nona’s Hole #17 was made all the more memorable when Team Isleworth’s Tiger Woods playfully tossed Stenson’s ball into Lake Nona. Tavistock Cup’s four-story monster scoreboard made its first appearance and continues to grace either Isleworth’s or Lake Nona’s 18th green each year.

As a Tavistock Cup rookie, Team Isleworth’s J.B. Holmes captured all of the tournament’s individual competitions, including the Long Drive Challenge, Closest to the Pin contest and the Payne Stewart Salver Award.

For the first time, the Payne Stewart Salver Award was shared by five Tavistock Cup players: Robert Allenby, Thomas Bjørn, Ernie Els, Retief Goosen and Ross Fisher. The tournament also went high-tech, offering a wireless technology platform that gave spectators the ability to stream Golf Channel’s live Tavistock Cup broadcast and access real-time scoring updates through their mobile devices.

The luck of the Irish was with Team Lake Nona’s Ulsterman Graeme McDowell, who won the Payne Stewart Salver Award and helped lead Team Lake Nona to victory on St. Patrick’s Day.

To honor the decade anniversary of champion golfer and Isleworth member Payne Stewart’s passing, his wife Tracey Stewart presented the Salver Award at the Tavistock Cup. Golf Channel broadcasted the Tavistock Cup in HD for the first time.

The Tavistock Cup expanded its original Isleworth-versus-Lake Nona rivalry by welcoming Albany and Queenwood to the competition. The four clubs entered six-member teams in the two-day tournament.

The Tavistock Cup added new teams again, inviting Oak Tree National and Primland to compete alongside Albany, Isleworth, Lake Nona and Queenwood. Each of these six global clubs entered four of its top touring professional members in its bid for golf club supremacy.

TIM CLARK

Tim Clark’s world has changed greatly over the last 10 years in almost every respect, yet not so much on the golf course. A decade ago, the South African professional golfer was living in Arizona and playing on the PGA TOUR, and that part of his

story remains the same today. But a wife and a baby boy have brought Clark a change of life and a change of priorities.

The winner of a PGA TOUR title and three European Tour victories now puts family before golf, which has been a major part of Clark’s life since he began playing at 3 years old with a plastic golf ball and a cut-down wooden club in his backyard.

Although Clark’s equipment and practice facilities are state of the art these days, his travel style is low key. Apart from his golf gear, his only essential travel items are a phone, sunglasses and a pair of Ugg slippers.

Team events suit Clark, who fondly recalls his debut at last year’s Tavistock Cup for the unique surroundings and excitement the tournament delivered.

Helping others suits Clark, too. He makes a difference in the two places he calls home by supporting a shelter for orphaned and abused children in his hometown of South Africa and an Arizona animal rescue shelter from which his family adopted its dog Olive.

A decade ago, Ian Poulter was just beginning to find his stride. Living in England and playing on the European Tour, Poulter had two tournament victories under his belt and his sights set on winning many more. He was dreaming of a spot on a future

European Ryder Cup team and imagining the ways he would spend the career earnings he had yet to make.

Though his future was still uncertain, his goals were not. Today, Poulter is a 12-time European Tour winner, holds two PGA TOUR titles and has been Team Europe's top scorer for the last two Ryder Cups.

Poulter wrapped a 2012 season highlighted by a win at the WGC-HSBC Champions in China and a commanding performance at the 2012 Ryder Cup that is credited as the key to Team Europe’s comeback victory over the United States.

He still looks forward to winning more golf tournaments and buying more toys with the payout that comes with tournament wins. And it seems Poulter will travel to the ends of the earth to play the sport, having logged more than 250,000 travel miles this year alone.

His success in the golfing world enabled him to meet an athlete he considers one of the most impactful individuals in the world, famed boxer Muhammad Ali.

Yet Poulter’s finest achievement has no connection to the golf world. The father of four calls his two sons and two daughters his most treasured accomplishment.

JUSTIN ROSE

Ten years ago, Justin Rose was just beginning to carve out his future on and off the golf course. The South African-born English golfer was getting to know an international gymnast by the name of Kate Phillips and celebrating his newfound status on the PGA TOUR by

earning enough money to claim his initial TOUR card as a non-member.

Life, for Rose, is considerably different today. The former Kate Phillips is now Rose’s wife and the mother of his two children, Leo and Charlotte. Rose now ranks among the world’s best players. He is coming off a successful 2012 season recording a win at the WGC-Cadillac Championship and the Turkish Airlines World Final as well as playing a major part in leading Team Europe to Ryder Cup victory last fall.

His best memories on the golf course flow like champagne and often involve the bubbly, too. Rose’s favorite Tavistock Cup memory is the winning team’s champagne-fueled closing ceremony, a tradition he and Ian Poulter initiated at the 2007 event. Rose also greeted his European fans with a champagne soaking following Team Europe’s dramatic comeback win over the United States at the 2012 Ryder Cup.

But Rose’s idea of a perfect day on the golf course is one he can only imagine – a foursome with his son, daughter and late father, who passed away before Rose’s children were born.

Rose has plenty to give off the course. With the formation of the Kate & Justin Rose Foundation, the Roses are committed to improving the lives of underprivileged children throughout Orlando by providing them with nutritional support, funding education, and offering positive life experiences beyond the classroom.

TIGER WOODS

After being hampered with injuries for nearly a decade, Tiger Woods’ health has turned a corner, and he’s feeling physically fit coming into his 18th PGA TOUR season.

Capping off a 2012 season that included three PGA TOUR wins and no injuries, the 14-time major champion is thankful to be focused on playing and practicing instead of recovery and rehabilitation.

The winner of six European Tour and 76 PGA TOUR events, Woods collected his 17th World Golf Championship title with his victory at the WGC-Cadillac Championship in March.

Woods has come a long way since he first picked up a golf club. But the early childhood memory of hitting golf balls with his father remains with Woods.

Given the choice to play golf with anyone in the world, Woods’ greatest wish would be to play one more round with his late father.

Woods’ best recollections of Tavistock Cup always turn to the camaraderie and good-natured ribbing between the players, who expect to play well but have a good time.

Whatever good work he’s done on the golf course, Woods is most proud of his daily course of doing good through the Tiger Woods Foundation. For years, the foundation has been providing college-access programs to more than 100,000 underserved youth by creating learning centers around the nation.

BRIAN DAVIS

Brian Davis was playing on the European Tour 10 years ago. Today he has found new life on the PGA TOUR. After joining the European Tour in 1997, Davis was dubbed as one of England's rising golf stars. In 2004, he qualified for the PGA TOUR and has been a full-time

member ever since.

Davis has had a handful of great moments on both tours, including two European Tour wins, but he is remembered namely for one at the 2010 Verizon Heritage tournament. After Davis' club brushed a reed on a backswing, he called a two-stroke penalty on himself on the first playoff hole, which potentially cost him his first PGA TOUR win. His selfless act of sportsmanship that day captured the attention of fans and the media and made the husband and father of three a role model for the sport.

Since that experience, Davis has been grateful for the support and praise he has received from his fans and the media, who he says are a constant reminder of how fortunate he is to have the opportunity to play golf for a living.

Tavistock Cup stirs up sweet memories for Davis, especially because his children can be part of the experience.

Ten years from now, Davis hopes his life isn’t much different than today. He’d like to remain a force on the PGA TOUR and watch his children compete in sporting events.

D.A. POINTS

A decade ago, D.A. Points was playing on the Web.com Tour but within striking distance of earning his PGA TOUR card. Today the Illinois native’s hopes of earning a PGA TOUR card have been replaced by a strong desire to collect several victories this

season after winning his first PGA TOUR title at the 2011 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.

Introduced to the game of golf by his mother and father and inspired to play competitively by golf legend Arnold Palmer and golf ’s goodwill ambassador Peter Jacobsen, Points attended the University of Illinois where he was a third team All-American member of the golf team.

If a Hollywood movie were made about his life, Points says he can see Bill Murray playing his character. A golf figure in his own right, Murray was Points’ amateur playing partner when the duo won the pro-am portion of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.

Gracious to both the media and his fans, Points says he’s learned the importance of always speaking from the heart. When people ask Points how to improve their next round, he has a tip for that, too – making putts are the best way to a lower score.

BO VAN PELT

Just about a decade ago, Bo Van Pelt was returning to the PGA TOUR from the Web.com Tour. For Van Pelt, it was his second initiation to the PGA TOUR, and this time it stuck. The result has been a PGA TOUR title, a European Tour victory and a regular spot in the top 25

of the Official World Golf Ranking for the Indiana-born golfer.

Coming off the most consistent season of his career, Van Pelt feels confident about the coming year and pulling off a strong performance for Team Isleworth in this year’s Tavistock Cup. What Van Pelt remembers most about his Tavistock Cup debut last year was the ultimate high he felt flying by helicopter with fellow teammates to the tournament and watching Isleworth’s Sean O’Hair card a 60.

With an honest and friendly demeanor that has earned him friends on an off the course, Van Pelt offers this advice: It takes a lot less effort to be nice than it does to be mean when it comes to interacting with press and fans. His insider tips for shooting a lower score are just as straightforward – hit straight and putt well.

If a movie were ever made about this nice guy’s life, Van Pelt would like to have a hand in selecting one of two leading men who have earned his wife’s vote to play him in a biopic: Ryan Reynolds or Josh Duhamel. But the leading men that have mesmerized Van Pelt for years are not Hollywood heartthrobs but the golf world’s finest, Jack Nicklaus and Byron Nelson.

BUBBA WATSON

This time 10 years ago, Bubba Watson was chasing his golf dreams on the mini tour, golf ’s minor leagues. Today the four-time PGA TOUR winner plays on the top tour in the world and conquered an event that represents the pinnacle of the sport when he sealed his

victory at the 2012 Masters.

Although no major can change his career or game, Watson says he can revel in the prestigious title and symbolic green jacket.

Flying in by helicopter from Isleworth to Lake Nona was among Watson’s most memorable moments from last year’s Tavistock Cup. This year, Watson wants his standout memory to be a winning one – to help Team Isleworth recapture Tavistock Cup victory. A decade from now, Watson is eying another role at Tavistock Cup – to replace David Feherty as the tournament’s first tee emcee.

Watson is a champion of charity, too. His yearlong “Bubba and Friends Drive to a Million” campaign, a joint endeavor by Watson and his sponsor PING, raised more than $1.4 million, including $500,000 of Watson’s own money. He has also generated charity dollars as golf ’s first crossover boy band star. Watson, along with PGA TOUR players Ben Crane, Rickie Fowler and Hunter Mahan, hit it big on YouTube two years ago when they formed the band Golf Boys and produced their first song called Oh, Oh, Oh. For every 100,000 views, Farmers Insurance Group donated $1,000 to charity. After nearly two years in hibernation, the Golf Boys are back with their encore performance, 2.Oh, with proceeds from YouTube views benefitting charity.

ROSS FISHER

A decade ago, Ross Fisher was a constant presence on the famed Wentworth golf course in Surrey, England. The 22-year-old was making a living working part-time in Wentworth Golf Club’s caddie shack while playing amateur golf fulltime.

Since then, Fisher has become a solid presence on both the European and PGA tours as a four-time European Tour champion and a member of the 2010 European Ryder Cup team, which regained the trophy from the United States at Celtic Manor.

Fisher’s golf talent is more recognizable than his name among PGA TOUR fans, who refer to him as “Fish.” But even though his popularity is more modest in the United States than Europe, the PGA TOUR is a better fit for the Englishman who is making 2013 his first full season on the American golf circuit.

One celebrity who had no trouble recognizing Fisher’s name was American actor Alfonso Ribeiro, best known for his role as Carlton Banks on the sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Fisher and Ribeiro were playing partners for a pro-am tournament.

Fisher has set his sights on returning to the winner’s circle this season, beginning with another victory at the Tavistock Cup, where he has enjoyed much success as a member of three victorious Lake Nona teams and became one of five Payne Stewart Salver Award winners last year.

While Fisher has found success in golf, marriage and fatherhood are his best accomplishments yet.

PETER HANSON

To hear Peter Hanson tell it, not much has changed for him in the last decade. Ten years ago, the Swedish professional golfer was playing golf, just as he is today.

But Hanson’s life of late is a bit different. For the first time, Hanson is playing on the PGA TOUR fulltime after earning enough as a special temporary member to finish among the top 125.

The six-time European Tour player closed out a successful 2012 season capturing his fifth and sixth victories on the European Tour in the KLM Open and the BMW Masters.

Hanson also played a part in the 2012 victory of the European Ryder Cup team. The memory that stands out most for the two-time Ryder Cup member is teammate Martin Kaymer’s putt on the final hole to beat Team USA’s Steve Stricker, giving Europe the point it needed to retain the Ryder Cup.

Hanson has good memories of the Tavistock Cup, too, but there are three prevailing ones – Team Lake Nona’s 2010, 2011 and 2012 victories. Taking another triumph at this year’s tournament would bring him another memory for the books.

Hanson’s status in the golf world gave him access to a golfer who’s better known for his time in the White House than on the golf course – 41st President George H. W. Bush.

Winning golf tournaments matters to Hanson, but being a father to his children, Stella and Tim, counts for more than anything.

GRAEME McDOWELL

Graeme McDowell began life on the European Tour a little more than a decade ago. By his fourth start, the Northern Irish golfer had found his footing and won the Volvo Scandinavian Masters. It was a sign of good things to come.

Since then, McDowell has secured six more European Tour wins, was a member of the European Ryder Cup team on three occasions, and ascended to the top 10 in world rankings. Today he also feels at home on the PGA TOUR, where he won the 2010 U.S. Open, his first major and PGA TOUR victory.

McDowell’s memory of Team Europe’s 2012 Ryder Cup rally remains charged with emotion. It was not McDowell’s day to shine, but it was impossible not to let the miracle of teammate Martin Kaymer’s winning putt wash over him.

A longtime Tavistock Cup fixture, McDowell’s best tournament memory dates back to 2009, the year that he proved himself not just a winner, but a champion. McDowell helped carry Team Lake Nona to a come-from-behind victory and earned the Payne Stewart Salver Award by carding the lowest score during the second round.

McDowell’s game isn’t the only thing on the right track. He is making positive strides far from the fairways with his private foundation that supports children’s medical research in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and the United States. Less than two years after setting up the The G-Mac Foundation, McDowell has channeled thousands of charity dollars to children’s hospitals in Dublin, Belfast and Florida and helped recovering children and their families celebrate by funding their trips to Disney World.

No matter how McDowell fairs on the golf course, his year is guaranteed to end on a high note. He will tie the knot with fiancée Kristin Stape this October.

HENRIK STENSON

After more than a decade spent hitting a little white ball, the thrill of playing professional golf hasn’t faded for Henrik Stenson. His passion for the sport remains as strong now as it did back then.

For the Swedish golfer who was a Ryder Cup player for Europe’s 2006 and 2008 teams and plays on both the European and PGA tours, the 2012 season brought an end to his five-year European Tour victory drought when he won the South African Open Championship.

The two-time PGA TOUR champion and winner of eight European Tour titles is looking forward to competing in several majors and securing a home title with another Tavistock Cup victory for Team Lake Nona.

Stenson has sweet memories of his stirring performance at the 2007 Tavistock Cup, where he shot 57 in a better ball match against Tiger Woods. But for Stenson, there’s no better memory than the wedding anniversary he remembered and his wife forgot, even after he planted several clues as reminders.

Stenson’s game may be a work in progress, but he has achieved perfection elsewhere – with his two children, Lisa and Karl. Another tongue-in-cheek accomplishment Stenson feels is worth noting is his fourth-place finish in a long jump competition in the third grade.

RICKIE FOWLER

Ten years ago this time, Rickie Fowler was a high school student with a taste for the genteel sophistication of golf and a penchant for adrenaline-fueled extreme sports including motocross and mountain biking.

Fowler still indulges his extreme biking passion from time to time, but he gets more attention for his daring performance and appearance on the golf course. Since joining the PGA TOUR in 2010, the reigning champion of the 2012 Wells Fargo Championship has shot to the top 25 in the world, become the youngest U.S. Ryder Cup player of all time and emerged as a fan favorite.

Almost every aspect of life has changed for Fowler since turning professional, yet no place makes this former Oklahoma State University student happier than his old college stomping grounds. After playing two years of college golf at Oklahoma State University — where he became the first freshman ever awarded the NCAA Player of the Year honor — Fowler says he would spend the next 10 years in Oklahoma if he could.

Fowler, who dresses in head-to-toe orange attire in honor of his alma mater, is delighted to be playing his first Tavistock Cup with good friends who share his connection to Oklahoma. His goals for the coming season are to contend in a few majors.

Fowler has stayed true to his Native American and Japanese heritage by creating the Rickie Fowler Foundation, with a mission to provide opportunities for at-risk youth within Japanese and Native American communities.

CHARLES HOWELL III

When Charles Howell III reflects on his life 10 years ago, it is a welcome trip down memory lane. The twenty-something golfer was entering his third PGA TOUR season that proved to be one of his finest, recording his best finish in a major and

finishing 14th on the money list.

Around the same time, the Oklahoma State grad was also learning his way around the golf course at Isleworth where he had just become a member. The two-time PGA TOUR champion, who has since made Isleworth his longtime home, is thrilled to be playing Isleworth’s course during this year’s Tavistock Cup under Oak Tree National’s flag.

A familiar face at the Tavistock Cup over the years, Howell’s favorite element of the tournament is seeing the theme of the Tavistock Cup Gala and the appearance of the Isleworth Clubhouse change from year to year.

After visiting dozens of destinations during his lifetime, no experience has captivated Howell more than a South African safari. As playing partners go, Howell has given plenty of thought to who he would want in his fantasy foursome; golf legends Ben Hogan, Bobby Jones and Tiger Woods are a shoo-in. The Augusta, Ga., native’s enthusiasm for golf and travel is matched by his drive to help chronically ill children by supporting the Georgia Health Services Children's Medical Center.

BOBTWAY

A decade ago, Bob Tway was a household name on the PGA TOUR. At the time, he was starting his 19th season, which would bring him the last of his eight PGA TOUR titles with his 2003 Canadian Open win.

But the moment he tends to reflect most on happened years earlier in his career. Tway enjoyed his greatest season in 1986, when he won four times, was named Player of the Year, and defined his golf career by besting Greg Norman at the PGA Championship.

Tway, who plays on the Champions Tour today, is still looking for his career-defining moment on the senior tour and hopes 2013 will bring his first victory.

His defining moments off the course include seeing the Grand Canyon and Taj Mahal and lending his support to the Children’s Miracle Network.

While a winning round is hard to beat, Tway’s idea of a spectacular round would feature strictly family, including his grandfather, father, brother and son.

If the Oklahoma native had to spend the next decade in just one place, he would settle in Scottsdale, Ariz., a destination Tway has visited on more than one occasion to sharpen his game during the winter months.

SCOTT VERPLANK

More than a decade ago, Scott Verplank was working on improving his golf game. Today the five-time PGA TOUR champion and two-time U.S. Ryder Cup team member is working his way back to a full-time schedule of PGA TOUR events after a 2012

season that was cut short by a hip injury and wrist surgery complications.

Playing the 2013 season on a major medical extension, Verplank is looking forward to regaining his health and remaining a contender deep into his successful career.

The PGA Tour veteran has traveled all over the world to destinations as far and as interesting as Bora Bora, but he’d gladly spend the next 10 years saddled in one place – his home in Edmond, Okla.

Away from the golf course, Verplank is always in action, helping children affected by type 1 diabetes through the Scott and Kim Verplank Foundation. Verplank, who has lived with type 1 diabetes since he was a child, helps fund college scholarships for students committed to managing their diabetes.

If Verplank had the opportunity to handpick a Hollywood actor to portray him in a film about his life story, it would be television and movie star Kurt Russell – a former child star who pursued a professional baseball career and was forced to retire after injuring his throwing shoulder.

FREDCOUPLES

It was a decade ago that Fred Couples won the Shell Houston Open, his last PGA TOUR victory. But the triumph was far from his last. Since making the transition from the PGA TOUR ranks to the Champions Tour circle in 2010, Couples has collected a number of other honors to

match the accomplishments he made during his nearly three-decade run on the PGA TOUR.

Couples, a former Masters champion and winner of 15 PGA TOUR and three European Tour events, has since secured eight Champions Tour victories, including two senior major titles, as well as a place in the World Golf Hall of Fame, to which he will be inducted in May.

However, a lifetime of golf achievements can’t eclipse Couples’ earliest memory of the sport – receiving his first set of junior golf clubs.

Couples says his golf career has taken him to plenty of interesting places, including Scotland’s Old Course at St. Andrews, long regarded as the home of golf. His status landed him in the company of many influential figures, such as 41st President George H. W. Bush, who has amassed several golf awards himself.

After spending more than 30 years crisscrossing continents and time zones, Couples never leaves home without three essentials – a pair of sunglasses, his passport and Super Glue.

BILL HAAS

Roughly 10 years ago, Bill Haas was a 20-year-old junior at Wake Forest University attending WFU basketball games, playing a lot of golf, and working his hardest to make the dean’s list.

As a former member of Wake Forest University’s men’s golf team, Haas was also making his mark on the college golf scene, becoming a three-time first-team All-American, four-time All-ACC, two-time ACC Player of the Year and 2001 ACC Rookie of the Year.

Hailing from a distinguished family of golfers, the four-time PGA TOUR champion’s earliest memories of golf were watching his father, former PGA TOUR player Jay Haas, practice and compete in tournaments. Bill Haas’ first Tavistock Cup appearance holds a special place in his heart because he will compete alongside his father as they represent Team Primland.

Haas is using his profession to help improve the lives of children and adults with severe disabilities through the Bill Haas Birdies for Barbara Stone Foundation campaign benefitting the Barbara Stone Foundation in his hometown of Greenville, S.C. By donating $100 for every eagle and $25 for every birdie he made during the 2012 season, Haas and his supporters helped raise more than $12,000 for the special needs organization.

With a passion for cars and the game of golf, Haas thinks it would be fitting to name a Hollywood motion picture of his life story Driving Force.

JAY HAAS

Jay Haas was playing the best golf of his life a decade ago, and the timing couldn’t have been sweeter. In his 28th PGA TOUR season, Haas’ game experienced an unexpected revival that lifted the nine-time PGA TOUR champion into the top 30 on the money list for the first time

in eight years.

Despite being a year away from joining the senior tour, he made the Presidents Cup team that same year and the following year earned a spot on the 2004 U.S. Ryder Cup team at the age of 50, making him the second oldest player to compete in Ryder Cup history.

Haas, who has enjoyed a successful track record on the Champions Tour capturing 16 victories, including three senior major championships since 2004, is ready to add the Tavistock Cup to his playing schedule. He is most looking forward to having son Bill Haas at his side as the father-son duo competes for Team Primland.

Thirty-seven years on the competitive golf circuit has taken Haas to countless cities, but one destination stands out for the veteran golfer more than any other – Rome. For the mark he has left on the golf world, Haas was given the opportunity to meet a trio of the world’s most recognizable leaders, including President George H. W. Bush, President Bill Clinton and Nelson Mandela.

For the exceptional experiences his professional golfing career has brought him, Haas said he can think of only one fitting name for a Hollywood film about his life story – A Lucky Guy.

WEBB SIMPSON

Webb Simpson was rising fast as far back as a decade ago. Now he’s reached the highest echelon of the golf world. This time 10 years ago, the reigning U.S. Open champion was a junior at Raleigh’s Broughton High School hitting golf balls nearly

365 days a year. Though grueling, Simpson got the most out of his daily practice regimen, including a spot on Wake Forest University men’s golf team on an Arnold Palmer scholarship.

Even before capturing his first major last year, Simpson could feel his confidence building after posting two PGA TOUR victories late in the 2011 season and finishing second on the money list for the tour. But the U.S. Open title proved he could win at the highest level.

That life-changing memory was followed by another three months later when Simpson made his first Ryder Cup appearance for Team USA. Despite producing a commanding performance in the team event, Simpson’s best memories of the Ryder Cup were the enthusiastic antics of his playing partner Bubba Watson. As he stepped onto the tee box during the first match, Watson orchestrated a frenzied cheering session in the packed grandstands by waving his arms like a cheerleader.

Simpson is excited to add the Tavistock Cup to his growing list of team golf stints, which also includes the 2011 Presidents Cup.

THOMAS BJØRN

Ten years ago this time, Thomas Bjørn was in the wake of a life-changing event. The Danish golfer was anxiously awaiting the arrival of his twins.

The last decade has impacted Bjørn in other ways, too. In 1999, he became the first Dane to qualify for a European Ryder Cup team and win. He also moved his wife and three children from England back to Scandinavia to be closer to family and friends.

With 13 European Tour victories to his name and more than 17 years in the European Tour ranks, Bjørn is recognized as the most successful Danish golfer to have played the game and remains a significant factor into his forties. Maybe that’s why the golf veteran has given no thought to retirement yet.

Despite his worldwide success, Bjørn remains in awe of golf legends like Seve Ballesteros and Jack Nicklaus. Bjørn’s commitment to golf is outdone only by his devotion to family – what he calls his greatest achievement.

Last year’s Tavistock Cup evokes warm memories for Bjørn, who with a 12-foot putt on the 18th hole tied for the best round of the day and became one of five Tavistock Cup players that year to claim the tournament’s Payne Stewart Salver Award, presented to the player with the lowest score during Round 2.

TOM LEWIS

On a school day 10 years ago this month, a 12-year-old Tom Lewis was skipping class to watch Tiger Woods win one of his earliest tournaments.

The Englishman is the first to admit he put more time in on the golf course than the classroom while growing up. Instead of hitting the books, Lewis hit the driving range, persuading the teenagers employed in the pro shop of the golf club where his father worked to complete his homework while he sharpened his swing.

Lewis may have struggled with discipline in the classroom, but never on the golf course. He won at every stage of his amateur career and competed solidly on an international level before eventually earning a Walker Cup spot and moving to the professional ranks.

His victory in the 2011 Portugal Masters in his third professional outing earned Lewis his first European Tour victory and the golf world’s attention. Becoming a professional golfer isn’t just a pathway to the top for Lewis, but a chance to play alongside the golf icons he admires the most, including Woods, Bubba Watson and Ian Poulter.

Memories of Lewis’ first Tavistock Cup last year still linger. Listening to Golf Channel host David Feherty’s zesty player introductions on the first tee and watching Watson and Gary Woodland outdrive Lewis by 40 yards off every tee are moments the young golfer won’t soon forget.

At 22, Lewis isn’t a father yet, but he has two special children in his life. His favorite way to spend some downtime is by spoiling his two young nieces.

PAUL McGINLEY

A little over a decade ago, Paul McGinley’s name became synonymous with the Ryder Cup when he sank the winning putt at The Belfry in 2002.

The Irish golfer, who has since been part of two other winning Ryder Cup teams in 2004 and 2006, is preparing for his next Ryder Cup performance as the 2014 European team captain.

While the Ryder Cup veteran has won four events on the European Tour, the Ryder Cup is the event that has had the biggest impact on his life and where McGinley feels most in his element. Perhaps then it’s no coincidence that the golfers McGinley admires most — Seve Ballesteros, Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson — are a trio with Ryder Cup captaincies under their belt.

McGinley may have received more awards for his golf accomplishments than his academic achievements, but his degrees in marketing and international business mean just as much to the college-educated golfer.

Although McGinley’s 5-foot-7-inch build has never been a handicap on the golf course, his stature earned him and his equally short Tavistock Cup teammate Søren Kjeldsen the affectionate nickname — Team Smurf — coined by Golf Channel host David Feherty at last year’s tournament.

ADAM SCOTT

A decade ago, Adam Scott was enjoying his first run of success on the European Tour and the PGA TOUR. But the single event that had the most important impact on the Australian golfer in the past 10 years was capturing the 2009 Australian Open, Scott’s first

win on home soil. Three years later, Scott secured his long-awaited Australian Masters win.

The eight-time European Tour and eight-time PGA TOUR title holder also claims another important triumph – a win over professional golfer Sergio Garcia on the tennis court.

Scott calls José María Olazábal his favorite person in golf, a player who has enjoyed success on both the European Tour and the PGA TOUR and led Team Europe to a thrilling comeback victory in September as Ryder Cup captain.

The highlight of Scott’s year was playing beside Danish golfer and Queenwood teammate Thomas Bjørn during the 2012 Tavistock Cup.

While Scott’s full-time work remains on the greens, he says he never gives any thought to retirement because golf doesn’t feel like a job. For that reason perhaps, Scott would name a Hollywood motion picture about his life story Silver Spoon.

A new prescription for pediatric hospital care arrived in Orlando in October 2012 with the opening of Nemours Children’s Hospital in Lake Nona.

A pillar of Lake Nona Medical City, the 630,000-square-foot children’s hospital is staffed with a team of internationally recognized pediatric specialists who bring expert care and services to children while also conducting cutting-edge research into new treatments and cures for pediatric illness and disease.

Nemours focused on recruiting pediatric specialists who offer treatments and surgeries that are not available elsewhere in Central Florida and, in some cases, anywhere else in the southeastern United States.

Patients and their families will also find a unique healing environment at Nemours, including patient rooms with floor-to-ceiling glass windows where children may select the color of their overhead lights as well as a one-acre discovery garden with walking paths and a 1,300-gallon saltwater fish tank that is home to a variety of corals and large fish.

Nemours Children’s Hospital describes itself as a hospital designed by families for families since hospital leaders partnered with Central Florida parents, many with children who have chronic

medical conditions. These parents worked with the architect to shape the facility design and even interviewed finalists for positions at Nemours, including more than 100 physician candidates.

Those same families became part of Nemours Children’s Hospital’s grand opening festivities, too. Parents were honored in a special dedication ceremony while children raced into the hospital for the first time through a wall of silly string.

At the forefront of pediatric care, Nemours is one of the nation’s largest pediatric health systems with a children’s hospital in Wilmington, Del. and specialty clinics in Delaware, Florida, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Nemours Children’s Hospital in Lake Nona is proud to have Ian Poulter as a neighbor and avid supporter. Poulter’s inaugural golf tournament, the Ian Poulter Charity Classic, raised $100,000 for the hospital last March.

ISPS, the International Sports Promotion Society, was founded by Japanese philanthropist Dr. Haruhisa Handa in 2006 to support charitable causes throughout the sporting world. But nowhere is ISPS’ presence more visible than on the golf course. Based in Tokyo, ISPS has fostered partnerships

with golf ’s governing bodies globally to help develop the game at every level and promote blind and disabled golf.

A devoted golf supporter, Dr. Handa has been supporting blind and disabled golf for almost a quarter of a century, including setting up the Japanese Blind Golf Association in 1988 and the International Blind Golf Association in 1998. Dr. Handa founded ISPS in 2006, now sponsoring golf throughout the world across the European Tour, European Senior Tour, Asian Tour, Legends Tour, Ladies European Tour, LPGA, Japan PGA, Golf Australia, the Australian PGA and Sunshine Tour using each as a platform to raise the profile of blind and disabled golf.

Last year, the ISPS HANDA PGA Academy Programme was launched in the United Kingdom and is preparing to expand into other key territories, including the United States, to provide tailored lessons and coaching by registered PGA Professionals to thousands of blind and disabled golfers. With golf making its first appearance at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, ISPS is campaigning for the inclusion of blind and disabled golfers in the Paralympics.

ISPS strongly believes in the “power of sport” to create hope and inspire people in a way that transforms society. Sport brings people together, unites communities around the world and has been a powerful tool in the pursuit of world peace.

By partnering with the Tavistock Cup, ISPS is further raising the profile of the work it does for blind and disabled golf. ISPS is honored to be named as one of the official charities of the 2013 Tavistock Cup.

Starting just 50 miles off the coast of Florida, the 700 islands of The Bahamas appeal to a variety of vacation styles, offering some of the world’s best scuba diving, fishing,

sailing and boating as well as shopping and dining. These attractions, along with the warm, friendly and hospitable Bahamian people, draw nearly five million visitors per year.

While The Bahamas are best known to consumers as an easily accessible tropical getaway, the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism is working to establish the island nation as a leading destination for sports tourism by making investments and establishing partnerships that promote the islands as a location for both sports participation and spectating.

The Bahamas will make history on May 23 when its new $30 million Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium hosts an exhibition match between Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and the Jamaican national football team.

The match marks the first time a Premier League Club will play in the Commonwealth of The

Bahamas and will be among the major events in the new 15,000-seat stadium as well as part of the year-long celebration of The Bahamas’ 40th anniversary of independence.

JOURNAL | 2013 TAVISTOCK CUP

From Boston to San Francisco and Boca Raton to Los Angeles, chefs from every corner of the country from Tavistock Restaurants’ portfolio of upscale eateries

have been showing off their cooking chops in a yearlong culinary challenge good enough for television.

But their live cook-offs, quick-fire challenges and relay cooking contests won’t air on any network. Instead, these culinary competitions, inspired by Bravo’s long-running Top Chef reality cooking series, will remain in the back of the house intended to achieve a greater purpose – to elevate and celebrate Tavistock Restaurants’ incredible pool of culinary talent.

In these head-to-head battles, the chefs have a chance to earn cash, prizes, an all-expenses-paid trip to a luxurious destination abroad, and the chance to be named “Tavistock Top Chef ” at the 2013 Tavistock Cup. But more importantly, the competition provides chefs inspiration and ideas, instills pride in their culinary creations, and facilitates a sense of community

among Tavistock’s many restaurants spread across different regions of the country.

Tavistock Restaurants invited its executive chefs from its upscale concepts as well as Tavistock’s three luxury resort communities to compete in the multi-round elimination event, which culminates in a final contest at the Tavistock Cup Gala.

In the first round of the competition, 33 chefs submitted two dishes online with photos, plate costs and the story behind their creations. The dishes were judged online, and the field was narrowed to 12 quarterfinalists. The quarterfinals involved live cook-offs at the US Foods test kitchen in Rosemont, Ill., that tested the chefs’ improvisational and organizational skills as well as their culinary talent through surprise ingredient and quick-fire challenges. A panel of guest judges, including prominent local food writers and journalists, lent their culinary expertise by tasting and critiquing the competing chefs' creations.

Tavistock Restaurants is a rapidly growing, privately held company operating 16 upscale and fast-casual restaurant concepts with more than 100 locations across the U.S. and is committed to building long-term value and profit by leveraging the quality of our food and beverage with engaging service.

Tavistock’s executive team narrowed the list from 12 to six to advance to the semifinals at Albany, a luxury resort community in The Bahamas developed by Tavistock Group. The chefs competed in multiple cooking contests across Albany with a final challenge on the beach in front of the resort community’s fine dining restaurant Aviva, where they were given minimal culinary tools to prepare a surf and turf dish.

Executive Chef Taylor Boudreaux from Napa Valley Grille in Westwood, Calif., and Executive Chef Jason Bergeron from Blackhawk Grille in Danville, Calif., emerged on top. The two will showcase their culinary skills in one final competition against the backdrop of the Tavistock Cup Gala, where guests will sample their amuse-bouches and accompanying wine pairings from Trinchero Family Estates. Guest votes will determine the competition’s first champion, who will be crowned the "Tavistock Top Chef " and presented with the ceremonial prize of a Top Chef Coat at the close of the evening.

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club sees a bright future in one of its newest acquisitions. When the much-anticipated Tottenham Hotspur Training Centre opened in Enfield, North London last fall, it set a new standard of excellence for training complexes.

The new, two-story home of Tottenham Hotspur’s First Team and Academy is built on 77 acres of greenbelt land. It includes world-class player preparation areas, a pool and hydrotherapy complex, altitude room, large-scale gymnasium, a covered artificial pitch and specialist sports rehabilitation suites, which will help the Club to attract, develop and retain the highest quality talent.

The training base features 15 pitches across the site, including 10 natural grass pitches as well as one regulation-size artificial pitch and a half-size artificial pitch, both equipped with floodlighting. Four of the pitches are dedicated solely for First Team training, and the First Team match pitch is built exactly to the same specification as White Hart Lane.

Recognized among the best in Europe, the facility has received widespread praise from Tottenham Hotspur head coach Andre Villas-Boas along with star athletes and the world’s major sports industry figures.

“The facilities are unbelievable, and there are some of the best players in the world here,” said New York Knicks player Jason Kidd, a 10-time NBA All-Star and two-time U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist. “It makes our facility look like we need to redo it! You guys have a beautiful home here. It makes me want to be a soccer player.”

With the new training center complete, Tottenham Hotspur is now focused on plans for a new stadium with the same high standards of quality and design. The proposed 56,000-seat stadium, which will be built next to its existing White Hart Lane ground, is the centerpiece of a larger regeneration project that includes a supermarket and 280 homes.

“Extraordinary! Not much else to say, but extraordinary. I have possibly been in more training facilities than anyone in the world, and the Tottenham Hotspur facility is second to none.”

On 7,000 acres in southeast Orlando, a 21st-century city is coming to life through collaboration, innovation and technology. The master planned

community of Lake Nona, featuring research institutions, hospitals for veterans and children, universities, new neighborhoods, planned retail and entertainment choices, and miles of open green space, is designed and built from scratch by Tavistock Group.

Lake Nona is a place where a forward-thinking framework of sustainable design practices, smart-growth features and 21st-century technology meet quality education, health and wellness, environmental amenities, diverse workspaces, dynamic neighborhoods and a biotechnology cluster that will offer some of the best research, medical training and patient care in the nation. Located next to the city’s international airport, Lake Nona will be home to 25,000 residents and an innovation engine at its core.

Serving as the centerpiece of the Lake Nona community is the 650-acre health and life sciences park known as Lake Nona Medical City. Carefully

planned and laid out, Lake Nona Medical City represents a deliberate strategy to build a centralized focus of leading medical treatment, research and education in Central Florida while creating an economic development and job creation engine for the region.

Comprised of five anchor tenants, Lake Nona Medical City includes the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, the Sanford‐Burnham Medical Research Institute, the newly opened University of Florida Research & Academic Center and Nemours Children’s Hospital, and the Orlando VA Medical Center opening later this year. These institutions represent an economic bright spot in the state of Florida with $2 billion invested in facilities and infrastructure over the last six years.

Through Collaboration

“When you have willing partners coming into it with a very combined vision and a commonality that truly is shared, then you can actually make something happen because people are aligned in terms of where they want to head, where they want to get to and what they’re trying to do for healthcare.”

IMPACT THROUGH

INNOVATIONLake Nona’s efforts to create a cutting-edge city through collaboration is illustrated each year at the Lake Nona Impact Forum, a thought leadership conference that convenes a select group of 300 leaders representing academia, industry, healthcare delivery and government to exchange ideas for improving national health and wellness and address some of the industry’s toughest challenges and biggest opportunities.

At the inaugural Impact Forum, Lake Nona was named the first U.S. “Iconic City” through Cisco’s Smart+Connected Communities Initiative. Noted as the fastest growing innovation cluster in North America, Lake Nona is only one of nine Iconic Smart+Connected cities in the world, and through this partnership with Cisco, Lake Nona will continue to build a community with the highest technological and environmental standards by providing unprecedented connectivity. Lake Nona’s high-speed technology infrastructure also earned recognition from the White House U.S. Ignite Partnership as one of the few communities in the nation to successfully deploy a gigabit “no-limits” network.

In addition to its emerging technology, Lake Nona will also be a leading force in health and wellness innovation through its healthy living efforts and newly cemented partnerships with Johnson & Johnson’s Wellness & Prevention, Inc. and Florida Blue, Florida’s Blue Cross and Blue Shield company, which will use the Lake Nona community as a living laboratory to test products, study ideas and drive positive results.

Built beside Lake Nona Medical City is Laureate Park, which offers a variety of homes designed with modern transitional architectural styles and high levels of technology and sustainability. As Lake Nona continues to grow, 40 percent of the community has been reserved for open green space to include a planned 334-acre city park, 44 miles of planned trails, several community parks and 1,000 acres of lakes and waterways as well as more than 5 million square feet of planned commercial and retail space.

Founded on the ideas of collaboration, innovation, education and technology, Lake Nona is leading the way in creating a community ideal to live, learn, work and play.

At the inaugural Lake Nona Impact Forum, Cisco CEO John Chambers named Lake Nona the first U.S. “Iconic City” through Cisco’s Smart+Connected Communities Initiative. Through this partnership with Cisco, Lake Nona will continue to build a community with the highest technological and environmental standards by providing unprecedented connectivity.

Customer care and transparency make RoundPoint a leader in online mortgage lending

ROUNDPOINT BRINGS NEW MORTGAGE MINDSET

Today it takes a high degree of innovative thinking and operational integrity to deliver real value in real estate lending. No one understands that better than RoundPoint.

With a deep understanding of the mortgage market, RoundPoint has facilitated home ownership for thousands of homebuyers since 2007. The Charlotte-based lender originates residential mortgages in 49 states, lending to clients purchasing or refinancing homes that are eligible for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac mortgages. RoundPoint’s mortgage rates are promoted by a network of national partners, including BankRate, LendingTree and Zillow Mortgage Marketplace, which in turn refer potential clients.

With industry-leading lending rates and a speed to close that allows clients to go from home viewing to home ownership in less than 30 days, RoundPoint has become one of the fastest growing online residential mortgage lenders, offering financing services that are unmatched by many of the nation’s largest lending institutions.

In 2012, RoundPoint originated more than $3.5 billion in residential mortgage loans, which represents a 145 percent year-over-year increase compared to 2011. While speed and price has empowered RoundPoint to successfully compete in the online mortgage marketplace, exceptional customer service and transparency are what’s fueling the mortgage lender’s rapid growth.

RoundPoint’s culture centers on customer care and transparency from first contact and carefully tracks a customer’s loan application throughout the origination process. Applicants are notified as each part of their loan is completed to ensure they understand where their application stands. It’s a departure from the old model of the mortgage loan process that leaves applicants in the dark while waiting for weeks to receive updates from their lender.

After each online mortgage transaction, RoundPoint encourages clients to provide detailed public comments on their user experience. Thousands of reviews are available so prospective clients know exactly what to expect before they enter into a mortgage with RoundPoint.

“RoundPoint’s online reputation with clients is really our best advertisement,” said Kevin Brungardt, CEO of RoundPoint Financial Group. “Clients frequently score RoundPoint a five-out-of-five with comments like, ‘It was quick and easy.’”

“Relationships are the key to RoundPoint’s success. We think it’s important to equip our clients with the information they need to make what is likely their most important investment decision – the financing of their home.”

IIsleworth

Natural scenery, rich history and a strong sense of community have long attracted generations of notable families to Isleworth. More than a century ago, the Chase family built a thriving citrus operation here. In the 1970s, Arnold Palmer realized Isleworth’s potential for a world-class golf course and country club. In 1993, Isleworth was reimagined again when it was acquired by the Lewis family. Today some of Central Florida’s most important families call Isleworth home.

Isleworth’s 600 acres of rolling hills, grand cypress and oak trees, manicured gardens and freshwater lakes are made all the more spectacular by its Arnold Palmer golf course, monumental sculptures and exquisite estates. A relaxed elegance combined with an impressive connection to nature creates a spirit of informal perfection at Isleworth, where members enjoy a clubhouse offering casual and fine dining, fitness and tennis amenities, youth programs, security and concierge services, and the Champions Grill featuring half-court basketball, pool and poker tables, golf simulators and putting greens.

Isleworth offers a haven of privacy and tranquility yet enjoys convenient access to the best restaurants, retail and entertainment destinations southwest Orlando has to offer.

THE ART OF LIVING WELL

For more than 25 years, Tavistock Group has been recognized for creating and maintaining a trio of club communities labeled as some of the

finest in the world. Conde Nast Traveler, Robb Report, Unique Homes, Vanity Fair, the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal have all recognized Isleworth Golf & Country Club in Windermere, Fla., Lake Nona Golf & Country Club in Orlando, Fla., and Albany on New Providence Island in The Bahamas as truly unique and standard-setting resort communities in the world’s most geographically desirable destinations. The history of Isleworth's golf course is as storied as its original designer. When golf legend Arnold Palmer first saw Isleworth, he realized it was the ideal setting to build a legendary golf course. Weaving through rolling hills, around pristine lakes and amid grand oak and cypress trees, Isleworth's picture-perfect course layout was possible because Palmer carved it into 600 undeveloped acres of citrus groves before plotting a single home site. Palmer's genius vision, combined with golf architect Steve Smyers' redesign of the course almost 20 years later, have made Isleworth one of the world's truly great courses. Today, Isleworth members credit the course as being both scenically stunning and the ultimate test of golf.

3THE FIELDTavistock Cup’s world-class roster includes many of the biggest names in golf who also happen to

be members and residents of the tournament’s six participating clubs.

SPECTATOR EXPERIENCE

Since the beginning, the Tavistock Cup has been an invitation-only affair offering club members,

invited guests and tournament sponsors an intimate spectating experience with small galleries and no

ropes separating spectators from the players.

HOLE PRIZESIn the race for World Golf and Country Club Champion status, Tavistock Cup players also

compete for the chance to win coveted team hole-in-one prizes, including elegant timepieces, private

air travel and luxury boats.

THE ENTERTAINMENT

The cheeky twosome of Golf Channel’s David Feherty and Gary McCord sets the happy-go-lucky

tempo of the Tavistock Cup with a chivalrous heckling act of players at the first tee.

CHAMPAGNE CEREMONY

Bottles of champagne are swigged and sprayed with abandon on the 18th green by the winning

Tavistock Cup team once the tournament comes to a close.

FOOD & DRINKThe steakhouse meets the golf course at Tavistock Cup, where an enticing menu of crab legs, shrimp

and tenderloin steak sandwiches, plus a full-service bar with an array of signature cocktails, keeps

spectators’ hunger at bay.

PAYNE STEWART SALVER AWARD

The memory of late champion golfer and Isleworth member Payne Stewart lives on at the Tavistock

Cup each year with the Payne Stewart Salver Award, presented to the Tavistock Cup player with the

lowest score during Round 2.

CHARITYThe Tavistock Cup has generated millions for

charity and inspired charitable giving among its players. Over the years, Tavistock Cup charities have

benefitted education, health and human services, youth development and community programs

designed to grow the game of golf.

THE LEWIS TROPHY

The Lewis Trophy has been the emblem of victory for the winning Tavistock Cup team since the

tournament began. Each year, the sterling silver hallmarked cup is housed inside the clubhouse of the conquering team and remains on display there

until next year’s tournament.

TEAM SPIRITTavistock Cup spectators wear the official colors

of their home club to demonstrate club pride. The tournament’s original color scheme was strictly red and blue, but as the teams expanded, so did

the color palette, which now includes pink, green, orange and gold.
