It is vital that governments support teachers and equip them with the skills to provide quality distance learning including in the refugees’ camps. • Children who are out of school are at greater risk of being recruited into labour, abuse and exploitation. We need to jointly commit to the centrality of protection for people of concern and refugee response. • National stakeholders including civil society organizations should be meaningfully involved in the response, prevention, mitigation and defeat of COVID-19, in line with WHO core principles of human rights and health that call for accountability, equality, non-discrimination and participation.
