Welcome address to the 21st European Venous Forum Congress

Welcome to the EVF Budapest 2020!

On behalf of the European Venous Forum, we cordially invite you to our 21st annual meeting in Budapest.

As you can see, phlebology is developing at a high speed. There are not only new ideas, but also new experience with

former methods and medicines. The main characteristic of this conference is that it gives you the opportunity to discuss

presentations that you can understand the subject completely. The benefit of this meeting is that abstract sessions show

the cutting edge of our science, and didactic sessions help us make sense of different new results. Industrial sessions give

us the opportunity to get to know developments in diagnostic tools and therapy.

We intend to deal with phlebology from different angles, such as anatomy, physics, biochemistry, pathophysiology,

pharmacology, cosmetology, trauma, haemostaseology and gynecology. The Chairman and the members of the EVF Board

guarantee a fine selection of papers.

This is one of the largest meetings devoted to phlebology. You can meet not only with the experts but also with the

highest level products in this field.

The beautiful city of Budapest gives this meeting a comfortable and quiet setting, where you will also find great cultural

programs and ways to relax.

In addition, this occasion will include the annual meeting of the Balkan Venous Forum.
