NATIONAL ZOO AND AQUARIUM EXCURSION
FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK
We only have a week to go before Alice the Musical is upon us. Everyone has been working hard to ensure it is a great experience. Yesterday, a note was sent home with information about all things Alice. If you haven’t purchased tickets yet, please do so ASAP. The evening performances are selling fast and there are no tickets for sale at the door. The P&C will be running a BBQ and canteen beforehand. Our Kindergarten and Year 1 students had a great day at the zoo this week. For many of them, it was the first time on a coach! Some photos from the day are included in this newsletter. Students in years 2,3 and 4 have been offered the opportunity to participate in the Special Swimming Scheme program in weeks 4 and 5. This is a daily lesson over a two week period. The only cost is for daily bus fare and pool entry which has been further subsidized by the school. Due to the musical, our first assembly this term will be on Friday of week 4, 8 November. This will be a whole school assembly from 12.00 pm now that we have the warmer weather. Please ensure you are engaged with our various communication methods as we have lots happening this term. If you haven’t downloaded SKOOLBAG yet, please do so ASAP as all notes sent home and various reminders are also communicated direct to your phone from this app.
