Through our Grow More Vegetables Seed Grant Program, we encourage and support the establishment of gardens by schools and organizations. These gardens facilitate the education of local communities across the U.S. on the benefits of fresh vegetable production and consumption through hands-on experiences with agriculture. All eligible grant applicants receive vegetable seed, while grant recipients receive seed plus supplies and a monetary award. Syngenta awards one grant in each of the following categories: Elementary and middle schools High schools and FFA chapters Community groups and organizations The Syngenta Grow More Vegetables Seed Grant Program is just one example of how we are bringing The Good Growth Plan to life in local communities by recognizing and supporting organizations that share our passion and commitment around the principles of “more food, less waste; more biodiversity, less degradation; and more health, less poverty.” Help spread the word about the seed grant within your community! Submissions may be completed online at www.vegetables.syngenta-us.com, emailed as a pdf document to [email protected], or printed and mailed to Bonnie Thomas, Syngenta Seed Grant Program, 8521 Six Forks Drive, Ste. 300, Raleigh, N.C. 27615.
