The following pages will outline features of the Club and the benefits you receive as a golf member. Penrith Golf Club is perfectly situated in the Nepean Valley with the superb Blue Mountains as a breathtaking backdrop. The golf course is often referred to as the ‘best value for money golf course’ and of course we agree. Members and visitors enjoy a well maintained, long and challenging golf course with excellent Clubhouse facilities. Our Bar, Bistro and function room (The Ron Barrett Room) service the wide range of member and guest expectations, making each and every visit an enjoyable and relaxing one. Penrith Golf Club has a range of Reciprocal arrangements with golf clubs across the country bringing members of the Club added value for their membership. The Golf Course
The golf course is generally considered one of the best in Sydney due to several factors:-
1. Penrith Golf Club is one of the longest golf courses in the Sydney Metropolitan Area at 6333m.
2. The type of grass for the fairways (couch) is regarded as the preferred playing surface for golf courses (NSW Golf Course Superintendents Association).
3. Bent grass greens of a formidable size offer players an even, consistent playing surface.
4. Penrith Golf Club has previously hosted four (4) NSW PGA 72 hole Championship events, the Australian Seniors PGA Championships from 2000 – 2004 and the 2010 NSW Junior Boys Championship.
The course is supported by a Toro monitored irrigation system. Water for irrigation purposes is sourced direct from the Nepean River via a pump shed and 6km pipeline. The Club is capable of drawing 180 mega litres of water per annum.

The Clubhouse
The current Clubhouse was completed in 1997 providing greater facilities for members and guests. The Clubhouse consists of the following facilities:-

freshest ingredients

Social Golf Playing Pass
Play Social Golf All Year Round
$400 per membership year (1st June – 31st May) – That is less than $8
per week
The Penrith Golf Club ‘Golf Pass’ is a social golf playing pass for only $400 per
membership year.
With a Golf Pass, you can play as many games of social golf as you like Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday from 1pm, Thursday and Fridays (subject to corporate golf
bookings).
* Weekend social green fees apply for Saturday & Sunday social golf play.
Plus, with a Golf Pass you can have full use of practice facilities 7 days per week,
including:
Practice Fairway
Driving Range Nets
Putting Green
The Penrith Golf Club ‘Golf Pass’ includes a clubhouse social membership for you to
enjoy all the clubhouse facilities and feel a part of the club as a club member.
Please note, social members are not eligible to be nominated as a Director on the
Board of the club.
