Maximum flexibility all the way down the

line: SUPERSYSTEM uses homogeneous

infrastructure to handle an extremely wide

variety of lighting tasks. Lighting inserts for

direct and indirect lighting can be flexibly

mounted side by side in a row. Indirect illu-

mination by T16 fluorescent lamps is per-

fectly complemented by miniature LEDs with

direct light distribution: this ensures pinpoint

illumination of exhibits and a pleasant light-

ing scene.

SUPERSYSTEMModular diversity

ELI: Superlative visual performance, visual comfort and

vista are all in evidence in this museum. This is achieved

by precisely aligned SUPERSPOTS for functional accent

lighting and indirect light to ensure soft light distribution in

the room. This understated, straight-line lighting system

includes modules for indirect and direct lighting and also

creates a sense of structure.

System development focused primarily on the lighting effect in the

room, not just on design. Innovative technologies have opened up

completely new product design perspectives. Thus, it is possible to

achieve maximum reduction of formal elements whilst minimising

Lighting modules such as spotlights, wallwashers or direct/indirect

components direct the light accurately in a focussed manner. The

system’s pared-down size creates a new quality, not only in archi-

tectural terms but also in terms of environmental compatibility and

SUPERSYSTEM Using the multifunctional lighting system made of

aluminium in a natural anodised finished, complex lighting solutions

can be implemented in a design reduced to pure functionality.

Extremely compact and energy-efficient high-power LED spotlights

provide accent lighting, even from longer distances. The modules

fitted with one, two or three lighting heads including control gear

can be installed flexibly onto the track. Where increased glare pro-

tection is required, an anti-glare tube is available as an accessory

can be used.

Ambient lighting Combined direct and indirect light components

from a T16 light source for balanced lighting scenes. Lighting in-

serts are available with power ratings from 21 W upwards. PMMA

(acrylic glass) and PC (polycarbonate, suitable for higher tempera-

SUPERSYSTEMColour rendering that ensures authentic presentation

Modern LED lighting solutions achieve excellent colour rendering

levels. Boasting Ra values in excess of 90, they are even more so-

phisticated than many lighting schemes that use fluorescent lamps.

LED solutions have nothing to fear in head-to-head comparisons

with discharge lamps either. They are quite capable of holding their

own in terms of colour rendering as well as other photometric pa-

rameters. As regards the colour rendering of LEDs, the following

facts are significant: normative colour rendering in the warmer col-

our temperature range is usually higher with single-chip LEDs with

a blue die (the light-emitting component) and yellow phosphor. The

energy-rich blue light is excited by the phosphor to illuminate. But

not all of the blue light is transformed: the resulting additive mixing

of the spectral colours produces white light.

The phosphor mix of a LED is decisive when it comes to colour ren-

dering. This mix changes as the colour temperature changes. Warm

white LEDs achieve better colour rendering levels, whereas interme-

diate and cool white light colours are more efficient.

All SUPERSYSTEM lighting modules are available with optional

colour rendering of Ra > 90. These are used in all applications

where the most natural possible reproduction of colours and ma-

terials is required.

Track for 3-phase AC current and DALI A track that can handle

both is the ideal solution for a uniform lighting design concept re-

quiring different light levels. The track can be inserted into H and S

sections and supplies power to all standard 3-phase and DALI

spotlight. Thus, complex lighting solutions combining state-of-the-

art LED technology with conventional lighting technology are easy

to implement.

L3 plus DALI DALI-specific feed allows transmitting the full range

of DALI signals using the 3-phase track. Matching versions of

Zumtobel DALI spotlights are available with immediate effect.

Thanks to its minimalist design, SUPER-

SYSTEM is the ideal solution wherever the

luminaire is not supposed to dominate the

architecture and interior. With its perfect

balance of size and luminous flux, the LED

spot creates bright accents, with a focus

clearly on the goods displayed. The lumi-

naire remains unobtrusively in the back-

ground; nevertheless, it cannot fail to

impress thanks to the high quality of its

sophisticated materials and the use of

excellent lighting technology.

SUPERSYSTEMDirecting people’s attention

ELI: The lighting system blends unobtrusively into the ar-

chitecture and makes sure the store has an un cluttered

look. There is an interplay between indirect room light and

accent lighting directed onto the goods.

At the same time, the room’s architectural elements

(columns) are emphasised by indirect lighting provided

by PASO II recessed floor luminaires.

Consistently inconspicuous The recessed track for plasterboard

system’s classy, unobtrusive design. The visual benefit: all

Maximum compatibility The recessed track connects all

SUPERSYSTEM modules to each other, regardless whether they are

fitted with LEDs or conventional T16 fluorescent lamps. After wiring,

special plastic inserts that allow sufficient spring deflection ensure

easy installation without the use of any tool. The recessed section

Single downlight Even when reduced to a single spot,

SUPERSYSTEM displays all its strengths as a high-precision LED

luminaire with just 2.5 W or 4.5 W. The compact lighting heads,

which can be swivelled in/out and rotated, with a luminous flux of

up to 259 lm per spot, ensure focused and energy-saving illumina-

tion of objects, while barely interfering with the appearance of the

and orientation. Although SUPERSYSTEM itself is virtually

Pendant luminaire The DALI-controllable SUPERSYSTEM pendant

luminaire creates a dual lighting effect: the highly efficient, flexibly

swivelling and rotating LED spots provide high-precision lighting ac-

cents, while at the same time diffuse ambient lighting is provided by

the T16 lighting module that is directed downwards. The colour

temperatures of the fluorescent lamp and the LEDs are perfectly

matched to each other; both are available in warm or intermediate

white. Large end caps made of aluminium enhance the premium

look of this silver anodised pendant luminaire, which is especially

suitable for prestigious, domestic and reception areas.

SUPERSYSTEMLED spotlight module for 3-phase track

Individually swivelling and rotating LED spotlight heads form a flexi-

ble unit. Thanks to the new Zumtobel track adapter, the compact

aluminium body incorporating three lighting heads can be installed

on any compatible 3-phase track intuitively and without requiring

exertion of force. After installation, the adapter components are al-

most completely concealed, so that only small locking elements are

visible. The entire luminaire is mounted flat below the ceiling, and

thanks to its mounting height of 65 mm, the LED module can also

be installed in low-ceilinged rooms. The rotary switch for phase se-

lection is incorporated unobtrusively into the luminaire design, yet

always easily accessible.

Valuable pieces of jewellery look even more

alluring if the light source stays discreetly in

the background. Sensitive lighting focuses

attention on the pieces displayed. The

Meister Juwelier store in Zurich’s Bahnhof-

strasse has put this guiding principle into

effect in exemplary fashion. Discreet

SUPERSYSTEM LED spotlight modules

mounted on 3-phase tracks allow the pieces

on display to really sparkle. Intermediate

white LED lighting heads create an exciting

contrast with the warm white light of the

dimmed, low-key general lighting.

SUPERSYSTEMHigh flexibility with two sections

1, 2 or 3 As an alternative to pre-installed LED spot modules with a

built-in converter, it is also easily possible to freely arrange the LED

lighting heads individually or in a group. H, S and E sections are availa-

ble – the possibilities are endless. Even if modules fitted with different

light sources are installed in a row, it is possible to keep regular spac-

ings between the lighting heads. Converter and DALI unit are com-

pletely pre-installed components that are to be separately integrated

into the section, so that the modules can be optionally controlled via

DALI and dimmed from 100 to 0 percent. In addition to these extended

RESCLITE emergency lighting module Luminaires that are not

suitable for integrated emergency lighting due to their construction,

design or light source are frequently used in prestigious areas. The

emergency lighting system must, however, 100 % comply with rele-

vant stan dards. RESCLITE LED emergency luminaires provide an

elegant solution: integrated unobtrusively into the SUPERSYSTEM

recessed module, only few luminaires are required to ensure perfect

visual conditions even in emergencies, absolutely independent of

general lighting and the lighting management system used. Another

benefit: RESCLITE solutions require only small-scale supply sys-

tems, which helps both the environment and your budget. The

RESCLITE emergency lighting module meets all requirements under

DIN EN 1838 for both anti-panic and escape-route lighting.

Targeted accent lighting emphasises details and helps get informa-

tion across visually. Its light structure shapes the space and archi-

tecture, emphasises proportions and helps people find their way

around. Various types of lighting, colour temperatures and variable
