The IPS-FEST GmbH (formerly BEFELD-FEST GmbH) is part of the company group Schmidt, Kranz and Co. GmbH from Velbert. One of the com-panies belonging to this company group with more than 1.200 employees worldwide and several other companies is FEST Aktiengesellschaft dealing, amongst others, also with power electronics. This similarity with the product range of our company and the synergies resulting from this led to the affix in the name of the IPS-FEST GmbH.
