Jeana Tafrow, a seasonedprofessional with over 15years experience in seniorliving and healthcare, hasbeen appointed Director ofCommunity Outreach forSunnyside Manor’s new sen-ior care community currentlyunder construction in WallTownship, New Jersey.
Ms. Tafrow has been withthe Manasquan based Sunny-side Manor since 2005 in thecapacity of Director of SocialServices and Admissions Di-rector.
During her career, Ms.Tafrow has served as staff so-cial worker and Director ofSocial Services for area nurs-ing homes and health care fa-cilities.
“In addition to skilled nurs-ing, memory care and rehabservices, the new SunnysideManor will have 77 Inde-pendence ‘Plus’ Assisted Liv-ing apartments including stu-dio, one and two bedroomstyles. “An array of servicesdesigned to make life simplerfor our residents is available,including dining and house-keeping as well as on-site fit-ness and a range of wellnessprograms,” Ms. Tafrow said.“We will also offer 24-houremergency response.”
In the coming months Ms.Tafrow will be heading the
leasing efforts and meetingwith potential new residentsand their families. “We’re allvery proud of the quality ofcare provided by SunnysideManor, and very excitedabout the services andlifestyle that this new ex-panded community will of-fer,” she said. “I am lookingforward to continuing theKeane family tradition of pro-viding quality senior serviceswith a dedicated caring staff,”she says.
Ms. Tafrow graduated fromJackson Memorial HighSchool and obtained a Bache-lor of Social Work fromGeorgian Court University in1999 and a Certified AssistedLiving Administrator licensein 2007. She is a member ofthe Social Worker Honor So-ciety. She currently lives inJackson, New Jersey with herhusband and three sons.
The all new SunnysideManor will be providing acontinuum of care in threedistinct neighborhoods: In-dependence ‘Plus’ AssistedLiving, Memory Care andSkilled Nursing.

Monmouth County ClerkChristine Hanlon, SurrogateRosemarie Peters and SheriffShaun Golden are teaming upto deliver county servicesand programs directly intocommunities through thenew Mobile County Connec-tion.
“We are proud to haveformed such an importantoutreach program,” ChristineHanlon, Monmouth CountyClerk, said. “It is the first ofits kind in Monmouth Countyand features mobile govern-ment services in an effort toconnect people with govern-ment in their communities.”
The Mobile County Con-nection office is housed in alarge mobile command cen-ter and will be rolled out atthe Wall Township Library,2700 Allaire Road on Sept. 10from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
During the event, residentswill be able to apply for andrenew their passports as wellas have passport photos tak-en. Residents will also haveaccess to free notary servicesand voter/election informa-tion. The Monmouth CountySheriff’s Office will be offer-ing Youth and Ident-AdultIdentification Cards and in-formation on the proper in-stallation of child safetyseats, along with otheragency services. In addition,there will be information onthe Monmouth County Sur-rogate’s Office regarding es-tate, guardianship and adop-tion services and otherprograms offered throughoutthe county.
“This new Mobile CountyConnection enhances ourcontinuing efforts to makegovernment services andpublic safety initiatives moreaccessible to the residents ofMonmouth County,” SheriffShaun Golden said. “We an-ticipate the Mobile CountyConnection to be a tremen-dous success as it travels tomunicipalities, senior centers
and libraries throughout thecounty to serve the public’sneeds in a timely and conven-ient fashion.”
“We look forward to bring-ing the Mobile County Con-nection to communities andmeeting the residents whowill utilize its services,”Rosemarie Peters, Mon-mouth County Surrogate,said. “Having access to coun-ty government services onwheels allows us to betterserve the public.”
