It is the Sunnyside Tavern’s policy to ensure that all of our guests travel home safely. We have a courtesy bus available at all times and we can arrange for the transportation of you and your guests after your function.

CAKEAGE

Our chefs are happy to cut your cake free of charge. We do not charge cakeage.

ENTERTAINMENT The Sunnyside Tavern can cater to your entertainment needs. We can hire soloists, duo’s, bands, D.J.’s and Karaoke through our booking agents. Payment is required 3 weeks in advance.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS Our team of qualified chefs take great care in the preparation of menu items, however we understand that some food products may contain allergens that individual guests may be allergic to. Our functions co-ordinator will discuss any of your special dietary requirements with you and we will endeavour to cater for all your guests.

Thank you for your recent function enquiry. The Sunnyside Tavern would be delighted to be your host. Our friendly team will manage your event from start to finish, ensuring you can relax and enjoy the party. ROOM HIRE We do not charge room hire, however, a minimum food spend of $750 is required to hire sections of the restaurant. There is no minimum spend required for the beer garden.

COCKTAILS

SECURITY

It is the Sunnyside Tavern’s responsibility to provide security for functions deemed to be high-risk, including 18th birthdays, Buck’s shows and Hen’s parties. As such, the hotel will charge security costs at the rate of $25 per security guard per hour required. It is at the discretion of management as to the number of guards needed, however this will be organised prior to the function.

MINORS

Minors are allowed in the hotel, however they must remain in the function area and be in the immediate company of a responsible adult. Any minor trying to purchase or consume alcohol will be removed from the venue immediately, as will any person encouraging the behaviour.

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL In accordance with the liquor licensing laws and the responsible service of alcohol, the Sunnyside Tavern reserves the right to refuse service of alcohol to any guest who shows signs of intoxication. Entry to the hotel will not be permited if guest are intoxicated or under the influence of drugs. The Sunnyside Tavern has a zero tolerance policy on drugs. Only alcohol purchased on premise can be consumed at the Sunnyside Tavern.

For us to maintain our high standards and provide the best possible environment, we ask that the following conditions be adhered to: DEPOSIT Bookings are considered tentative until a 25% deposit has been paid on all food amounts. The paid deposit will be subtracted from your bill upon presentation of the final account. Cancellations within 14 days of the confirmed function will result in the loss of your deposit.

FUNCTION NUMBERS

Confirmation of final numbers is required at least 72 hours prior to the function. Charges will be based on guaranteed numbers or the final head count, whichever is greater.
