LORD’S SUPPER TONIGHT AFTER EVENING SERVICE The Lord’s Supper commemorates the death of Christ: "This do in remembrance of me”, I Corinthians 11:25.

****College Meals**** – It’s a special opportunity for you to serve. Meals for College students are served each Wednesday night at 5:00 PM. Thank you to those that have signed up to fix a meal. We only have TWO OPEN DATES: September 25 and December 4. If you can help fill these dates, please contact Kelley Roach or Ruby Branch – the church pays for the meals.

Attention all Men, the next Men’s Fellowship is scheduled for Saturday, September 7, 2019 in the church fellowship hall. We will start eating at 8:00 am with a devotional and short business meeting to follow. We need all our men to mark your calendars and make plans to join us. Victory Missionary Baptist Church Fellowship Hall Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM

Kids for Christ will meet every Sunday begining September 15th from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM to begin working on our 2019 Christmas program. Kids kindergarten thru 12th grade are encouraged to attend. If you have questions, please see Melia Robertson or Lindelle Fraser.

Saturday, Sept. 21st from 2 PM to 3:30 PM, the Senior Adult Ministry will meet in the sanctuary for an “Old Fashioned Gospel Singing.” We will have congregational singing as well as special music. Following the music, desserts will be served in the fellowship hall. If you would like to help with desserts, please contact Brother Ken Worthen.

All aboard the next Summit Shuttle! Wade and Miranda Ivy will be the host drivers for a weekend trip to Columbia, MO on September 28-29, 2019 to visit the Summit Mission. You can sign up at the welcome desk or contact the Ivys for more information.

us as we “magnify” the Lord. The word magnify means to make large for the purpose of visibility. Of course we cannot make God bigger, but we can make Him more visible through our worship. Today, as we worship, let our praise, our prayers, and our preaching be such so that all present can’t help but to see the glory of our great God. Doug Hambrick, Senior Pastor Next Sunday, September 8, we will be ordaining 3 men to serve as deacons at Victory. Brothers Randy Hale, Jeremy Hale, and Brice Gunter will be ordained during the evening worship service. Please keep these men and their families in your prayers, and be sure to be in attendance for this special service.
