Nursery Available: For those with small babies or toddlers, attended nurseries are available. Ages birth to 24 months will be in the nursery at the end of the east hallway. Attendants are Philip & Autumn Norwood, Vivian Sprott and Mandie Lalman. All two and three-year-olds will be in room 208. Attendants are Jamie & Paige Simons. Options for children: Children 31/2-years-old to Kindergarten we have Children’s Church in Room 211. Goodtimer’s: Wednesday, September 9, Goodtimer's will travel to Oklahoma Christian University for lunch at 11:30 a.m. and then tour an exhibit of the Sacred Page being hosted by OC. Carolyn Martin suffers with Rheumatoid Arthritis and was recently diagnosed with Collagenous Colitis. She has asked for our prayers as she deals with these health issues.

Campus Concerns

University Center Intern

Ashley Barker is a junior at OSU, studying Elementary Education. She is

from Fort Worth, TX and attends Altamesa Church of Christ back home.

Her hobbies include singing, piano, intramural sports, eating and napping.

She is a member of the College of Education Student Council and was

previously a member of the OSU Concert Chorale for the past two years.

Ashley is so excited about serving the UC as a student intern this year.

She has loved getting to know our new students and looks forward to the many awesome

ways that God will work in the UC this year. The UC has given Ashley so much the last

two years, and she is so grateful for the opportunity to give back this year.

UC Women’s Ministry

The UC is so blessed to have Elyse Tharp working at the UC. She is a wonderful godly leader serving us!!! In case you were not aware, Elyse is starting her 2nd year as our Women's College Coordinator . She has been instrumental in the growth of our women's ministry, discipleship, and outreach. The enthusiasm, gentleness, and joy with which she serves Christ is contagious! She is also married to Derrick Tharp our Associate Family Minister who has been serving our Youth Group for over 2 years now. We are fortunate to have this amazing couple leading, serving, and mentoring our college and youth.
