• Fire began July 11th; burning 24 miles east of the city of Chelan
• Burning private land
• Threatening infrastructure: Power/telephone lines, school, fire
station, municipal airport, and ecological resources in and around
the town of Mansfield (pop 330)
• Damaged/destroyed infrastructure: Power/telephone lines
Response:
