CIRCLE THE CITY SPONSORED WALK Last Sunday your vicar, amazingly, not only completed the sponsored walk but did so in the fastest time!

http://www.justgiving.com/GilleanCraig2017 And here is the certified form

to prove it: Great thanks to all of you who sponsored him so generously.

At the moment of printing the total given via JustGiving stands at

£1,500 with a further £300 or so given by cash or cheques. A

Fantastic total! Just not quite as fantastic as last year’s stupendous

£3,000…….. We hear that a few people still intend to give but haven’t quite got round to it.

There’s absolutely still time to do so, by the method of your choice.

Either use the direct website above, or give cash or cheque

using the sponsorship forms you’ll find in church.

Dalgarno Trust Foodbank Alice Bulkai (07973 156 599), co-ordinates this greatly-appreciated work of supporting some of the most needy people in our community – thank you for your generous support. The plastic crates are set out in church waiting for your continued donations.

OUR NEW ASSOCIATE VICAR ANNOUNCED!

We are delighted to reveal that our new Associate Vicar will be the Revd JONATHAN MACNEANY. He writes: Now that news of my appointment has been announced I write to introduce myself and tell you how much I am looking forward to joining you at St Mary Abbots. I've enjoyed meeting with the ministry team and wardens over the last couple of months and am keen to greet the rest of the church. For the last three years I have been ministering as curate in the Epping District Team Ministry. We are a team of three churches: St John's situated in the vibrant Epping town centre; St Alban's at the heart of the village of Coopersale; and All Saints the

ancient parish church. I'll be arriving with Helen, to whom I'm married. She is a medical student at Queen Mary's University and will be taking her fourth year finals over the coming month. If youwant to find her she'll be stuck

behind a desk with her head in a book. I'll be getting up to speed before I start ministering officially on 25th June. When I'm not at church I pick up weights at the gym. I'm looking for some local sports with which to get involved and would welcome your recommendations. I also have a soft spot for physics

and natural history & will relish the closeness of the museums.

The Archdeacon will join us to License Jonathan and welcome him and Helen at a special service of Solemn Evensong at

6.30pm, Sunday 25th June - Book the Date Now!

Our next 'WELL-BEING BREAKFAST’ is approaching fast….. Our innovative new series of monthly breakfasts continues next Tuesday here at St Mary Abbots Church. It’s part of Fr.
