It is our desire to not only help the homeless and needy with food and clothing,

but to help them to turn their lives around for the glory of God. We do bible studies four days a week, teaching people how to apply the Word of God to

their daily life; for whatever situation they may be in. We discuss past hurts, emotions and relationships, Godly finances, walking in victory, and being all

that God has called you to be. Our bible studies are Mon, Tues, Wed, and Fri at 11:00 AM, and all are welcome to attend! **************************************************************************

VICTORIA’S CAFE As many of you know, due to the inability to negotiate a new lease, Victoria's Cafe closed in July. I spoke with the owners Vicky and Doug Berry on Tuesday! They are soliciting prayers as they follow the will of the Lord to determine if they should go into full-time restaurant business again. They were such good friends to me and others in the church and always gave a Gift certificate for Women's day when asked by church members. Will you please join me in praying for them?? In the meantime, they have a food truck called Follow Me Food truck and their locations can be found daily on Twitter and Facebook. They are available for: Catering, Corporate Events, School Events, Festivals, Weddings, Church Events, Colleges, etc. In addition, they have a kitchen located at 7914 South Memorial Parkway (a few blocks south of the of the old location) and they are taking orders for pick-up! I just ordered their famous hot spice tea and their famous Pretzel salad for Thanksgiving. I am sure that they will appreciate your prayers and support. They can be reached at 256-651-1018. ~ Rosa Kilpatrick

CHUCKLE FOR TODAY: Mr. Smith was the oldest of 7 children, so he had to quit school and work to help support his younger brothers and sisters. He never learned to read, so when he married and started a checking account, he signed his checks simply "XX". Eventually he started his own business, which immediately prospered. He soon was a very rich man. One day, he got a call from his bank. "Mr. Smith," said the banker, "I need to ask you about this check. We weren't sure you had really signed it. All these years you've been signing your checks 'XX', but we just got one that was signed with three XXX's..." Mr. Smith answered, "No problem, my friend. It's just that since I've become so wealthy, my wife thought I ought to have a middle name." *********************************************************
