Witnessing and inspection of pre qualification trials and testing.  Ensuring all verifications & inspection activities were carried out as per approved quality plans, procedures, standards

& specifications. Monitoring all external 3 lpe coating procedures. Witnessing and monitoring production, lab tests. Witnessing repairs and external coatings. Ensuring quality control recording and reporting any non conformities to senior coating inspector. Inspection of bare pipe – recording and reporting any damage. LAGGAN - TORMORE PROJECT - 10" & 18" Valves & actuators. 2011.  Client Representative / Coating Inspector. Allseas.

Attend production meeting to discuss I.T.P (Inspection Test Plan) and approve I.T.P.with Allseas & Total. Oversee all lifting and I.T.P Procedures. Work closely with Total Inspector and have daily contact with assistant project Manager for Allseas. Produce daily and weekly reports with photographs attached to send off to Allseas & Total. Witness all tests on valves & Inspect valves to a very high standard before and after blasting. Witness preparation for painting of valves and monitor closely and report any problems. Ensure all lifting and transportation of valves are following the correct procedures.

Coatings-paintings inspector

To carry out inspection of blasting and painting, to check for faults on pipe work and structure coatings, WFT and DFT checks, to ensure work is carried out to specification and complete paperwork and reports.

TUPI Brazil 2010

Witness and verification of 3 layer PPE trials for above client which was carried out at BSR coatings Hartlepool. Witnessed laboratory tests i.e. peel tests, bend tests, adhesion and DSC testing at Laboratories at Hartlepool, Leith and Rotherham. I also represented P.I.H. Burnley carrying out shrink sleeve application on pipe ends for Total, Block 17.

CORUS SHIPPING 2009-2010

Worked as a load out inspector for various clients ensuring pipes were free of any imperfections or damages prior to delivery. Pipes inspected included 3 layer PPE and FBE coated line pipe.
