Sustaining the Planet• One of our greatest challenges is to sustain

that sustains human being living in the earth.

• Natural and man made disaster (conflict war etc), biodiversity loss and global environmental changes (climate change etc) with social economical and political direct and indirect impacts requiring multinational-multidisciplinary approaches and collaborative responses and started in a way of education is delivered.

Sustaining the planet

• Problems at the interface of scientific, environmental, societal and developmentissues, it is important that policy is directed tocombines natural and societal sciences, economics and education to improve human livelihoods and safeguard natural ecosystem, thus promoting innovative approaches to economic development (UNSECO), (Strategic planning of Ristekdikti)

The Concept of One Health oneWorld

• has an aim for the reduction of risks of high impact diseases at the animal–human–ecosystems interface.

• It is an approach to dealing with the complex challenges at the intersection of animal, human, and environmental health including emergency pandemic disease, the global food crisis, and climate change; integrated and expanded coordination and work among multiple sectors and professionals to improve long term health and well-being better environtmentand better world.

SEAOHUN (South East Asia One Health University Network) was established in December 2011

• SEAOHUN established with 14 faculties of medicine, veterinary medicine, public health and nursing from 10 universities in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam

• 3 universities in Indonesia are members –
