2. Projekt - project overview
BBWV 12.0 - dans les traditions des bergers des Alpes - Harfe/harp plus ad libitum instruments (string-trio, oboe, clarinet) - similar to 12.1
BBWV 12.1 - dans les traditions des bergers des Alpes - Orgel/organ plus (andere/other) ad libitum instruments -similar to 12.0 -
BBWV 13 - the classical orchestra version (without clarinette) - klassisches Orchester mit Orgel und Pseudo-BC, 3 Strophen mit verschiedener Musik zu Gotteslob Nr. 145 in Textversion of Source 1.2 - Einzelstimme 13.9 umgearbeitet zu 12.2 - 3 verses as in GL 145 (source 1.1) but in oldfashioned German of source 1.2
BBWV 14 - representative style organ / Orgel - 3 Strophen wie Gotteslob Nr. 145, aber in alter Sprachfassung von Quelle 1.2 (fast identisch mit Einzelstimme 13.9) - 3 verses as in GL 145, but in oldfashioned German of source 1.2 (nearly identical with single voice 13.9)
BBWV 15 - orthodox style international texts version in genuin other harmonization - a) chamber small organ - b) Männerstimmen - male voices TTBB - c) choir SSAT - SOME CHANGINGS AND ADAPTIONS IN MELODIE - preference for first performance goes to AUSTRIA, (Bavaria?), POLAND, ITALY, UKRAINIA - because voices required here in Germany cannot be found normally - these 3 settings can be recombined freely and every setting is prepared for to sing all 3 (selected) verses - but the real thing in concert is to combine for instance like this: chamber organ - choir TTBB - choir SSAT - chor TTBB - organ
3. On settings
3.1 This project has provoked in internet a HARD MOBBING among professionals from German church musicians in a facebook-group. Critics were hard and loud - but based on very FEW obervations and specifics - so that I here, so to protext myself, DO NOT REVEAL those specifics nor give explanations in German language.
3.2 Preliminary studies on autographs as in internet in www.stillenacht.at were helpful and showed the following specifcis:- It seems, that the original was as melody with attached thirds and sixths - as quite conventional in any surrounding from the region of The Alpes-Mountains.- It seems. that the first accompagniato has been for GUITAR, not for haro, not for "Zither", not for piano. - Autographs V and VII give every impression, that Franz Gruber was not professional in musical setting-techniques, including that the melody in elaborated and corrected print-edition of autograph VII is too HIGH für popular or casual singing - and subesquently was changed in this Buike-project from D-major to C-major.- Autograph VII gives a melody, that in the Rhinelands may be more simplyfied in direction of just broken chords. To this FLEXIBILITY of melody was added in Buike-version for male voices BBWV 12.3.

3.3 In today situation in Germany outside Bavaria critics may be successful , if trying to give the impression of this Buike-project to be near to waste production. ALL LEARNED PEOPLE IN THE OLD WAYS OF PRACTICALLY ADVANCED CHURCH MUSIC however hopefully will ESTIMATE the KNOWLEDGE, the EXECUTION of knowledge and the RESULTING BEAUTY. Long years ago, I had a friend, who firmly stated: "You never will convince me as musician, if your music will not make weep the listeners!" - Well ...
4. Widmung - dedication
All dedications of parts of this project so far have not been accepted officially:- dedidaction of orchestra-version BBWV 13.0 for use in Maxkirche and Max-choir at Duesseldorf (old citadelle) - (so far my impression is, that they NEVER EVER will play my work there!) (HOWEVER: Setting BBWV 13.0 for orchestra because of unjustified primitive mobbing by professionals otherwise is NOT GRANTED PERMISSION FOR PERFORMANCE IN GERMANY with the exception of Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg.)- dedication of harp-version BBWV 12.0 to Stille-Nacht-Society in Oberndorf, near Salzburg, Austria - forerunner-version in D-major - for 200th anniversary in 2018- copies of BBWV 12.0 to German Folk-Song-Archives at Friburg/Breisgau and to Austrian Folk-Song-Institute at Vienna- dedication of first performance of version BBWV 15 - international texts edition in more orthodox style - goes to AUSTRIA, (Bavaria?), POLAND, ITALY, UKRAINIA - because voices required in Germany normally connot be found
