Programming Your Phazr-5 Remote

Step 1: Program the Remote To Your Box.**NOTE: This step may already have been completed by a CSR. Test your remote to see if this has been complted by pressing the button followed by . If your remote will channel up and down between TV channels, it has already been provisioned and you may skip to step 2.

Turn both the TV and the set top box on. Press and hold the button and the button at the same time. The button is going to light up red.

Release the buttons then enter one of the 3-digit codes: 259 If you have an ADB High-De�niton Box (will say “ADB” on front of box) 249 If you have an AMINO Standard-De�nition Box (will say “Amino” on top of box)

Your set top box will turn o� after the code is put in. You will need to power the box back on, and then press the button once more to store the code.

Step 2: Program the Remote To Your TV.**There are two options to program your remote. The Auto-Program method is typically the easiest process, but in the event that Auto-Program doesn’t work, you will be able to program with the pre-programmed 3-digit code.

OPTION 1: Auto - Program Method

OPTION 2: Pre-Programmed 3-Digit Code Method

Turn the TV on. Press and hold the button and the button for 3-5 seconds. The button is going to light up red, indicating that your TV is ready to be programmed. *NOTE: The red light will remain on for 30 seconds. The next step must be completed while the red light is on.

Release the buttons. Press and hold the button, do not release. The remote is now emitting a series of code signals. Release the button as soon as the TV turns o�.

Verify that the remote is now programmed by pressing the button. Your TV will turn back on. Then, try out the functions on the remote (volume, mute, etc.) to ensure you have the correct code. If any of the functions do not operate as they should, repeat Step 2 to continue the Auto-Search method. If this method will not work, try option 2.

Press the button once more to store the code. The button will blink red twice to con�rm that the code has been stored.

Point the remote at the TV and enter the �rst code listed for the brand of TV you have (see reverse for codes). If there are multiple codes, try them one at a time until the TV turns o�.

Verify that the remote is now programmed by pressing the button. Your TV will turn back on. Then, try out the functions on the remote (volume, mute, etc.) to ensure you have the correct code. If any of the functions do not operate as they should, repeat Step 3 using the next three digit code from the list.

Press the button once more to store the code. The button will blink red twice to con�rm that the code has been stored.
