CHILDREN REFUGEES COLLECTION Taken from a letter from the Bishop Catholic Charities in the border dioceses of Texas are trying to assist as much as they can with food, clothing, medical exams and descent living conditions while the future of the refugees await a decision in regard their future. Yes, our immigration policies desperately need to be update. However, these children are already here! They need our help now!! Many are frightened and need the comfort, welcome and thee assis-tance that will assure their well-being. In the name of Christ, our Savior, “who came not to be served, but to serve” and is revelation that “whatever we do to the least of our brothers and sisters, you do for me! I ask that a collection be taken in every par-ish, mission, institute or convent of the diocese where Sunday Masses are celebrated. Let us all be united in this effort.

The first time I heard about this retreat I thought it was going to be a lot of praying and someone preaching at me. I made an excuse for 2 years before I went on the first one. At that time, I was tied up with trouble at work and every day was such a struggle. I was just trying to get ahead. I was just depending on myself and not on GOD! My life was out of control. On this retreat I learned that none of us are in control of our lives. I found such peace and happiness when I finally listened to what GOD wanted me to do. 12:00 p.m. los jóvenes estarán vendiendo

paletas de hielo. Lo recaudado será para ayuda de los

jóvenes que irán al dia mundial de la juventud.
