There are many people today who admire what we do as Catholics, but haven’t yet decided to follow Jesus by joining the Church. How do we reach those people? Reflection from the Pastor:

There’s a curious line in the First Reading for today: “They were all

the people esteemed them.” In other words, there were many who admired

and valued what the early Church was doing, but they weren’t quite ready

to join. There are many people today who admire what we do as Catholics,

but haven’t yet decided to follow Jesus by joining the Church. How do we

reach those people? The Acts of the Apostles shows us it was precisely by

continuing to preach about Jesus and to live out his teachings to the fullest,

without compromise, that the Church grew and grew. Have you spoke

about Jesus to anyone lately? Do you talk about him to your family, your

friends, your neighbors? Posts on social media are good, but try personal

contact. Your personal witness does make a difference.
