A big thank you to the parents, students
and staff who participated in the
ANZAC day march, it was wonderful to
see our School represented with so
many students in uniform on this
special day.
The School cross country is on
Thursday this week. The students who
gain a place will compete at the Broken
Hill combined carnival on Friday 11th
May.
The RTPS fete will be in term 4 this
year, I understand that the last fete
organisation involved each class
having some parent volunteers
responsible for different stalls etc.
Please consider if you would like to be
involved this year as we will soon be
asking for names. It is a huge task
organising a fete so the more help the
easier it will be.
I would like to thank the P&C and all
School Canteen volunteers for their
efforts in keeping the Canteen
operating for our School. On occasion
we have had to close the canteen
because there is no one available. This
leads me to mention the possible idea
of employing a canteen supervisor as
done in the past to maintain the
canteen for five days a week. We will
discuss and consider this item at the
next P&C meeting next week. Have a great week

Community Announcements
We are in the process of sourcing new jackets for winter. The cost of the previous jackets has risen quite a bit and so we have been looking at alternatives. The school will order these in and you will be able to buy direct from us rather than placing an order, I am hoping the cost will be around $25 which is half the cost of the previous jackets. The jacket is maroon with a sky blue stripe and sky blue logo. Delivery will be 8 weeks.
