Becoming Catholic (RCIA) will begin on September 6, 2017 in the St. Rose of Lima room, located on the
top floor of our education building. If you have wondered about the Catholic faith, know someone who is
struggling in their spiritual journey; if you were baptized Catholic but never received Confirmation, then
Becoming Catholic (RCIA) is for you. Please join us to learn more about the Catholic Church given to us by
our Lord Jesus Christ. If you have questions about our Becoming Catholic (RCIA) program, please email us

You may register for the Adult Series “Psalms:
The School of Prayer” at the Welcome Desk in
the vestibule or at the parish office.
Beginning on Monday, September 11th, there are
four sessions available: Mondays at 6pm,
Tuesdays at 9am, Thursdays at 6pm, and
Sundays at 9:15am. All classes will meet in the
St. Rose of Lima room, and the cost for the book
is $20.00. Books are available for purchase at the
office.

Faith Formation
It’s not too late to register for Faith Formation classes for the upcoming 2017—2018 school year! This includes K through 5th grade, 6th through 8th grade (EDGE), 9th through 12th grade (Life Teen), RCIA (Adults) / RCIC (Children), and Adult Education classes. Registration forms are located
on our parish website, or in our parish office. Please note: If your child will be enrolled in the 2nd grade, then it’s time for First Holy Communion. Please make sure to complete the additional form and bring your child’s baptismal certificate to the office.
Young Adults
Discipleship on Draft (Theology on Tap) at Goat Lips Deli on Copter Road in Pensacola on September 13th at 6:30 pm. Watch for more information and/or go to Pensacola Catholic Young Adults on Facebook.

Bishop Ricard Conference:
Living as Missionary Disciples Saturday, September 30th

Bishop Wack will be the celebrant for the
8 am Mass and Bishop Ricard will be the
presider at the opening prayer service. Cost is
$25 per person and includes continental
breakfast, lunch and three breakout sessions.

There are no Faith Formation (RE) classes next Sunday (September 3rd)
due to the Labor Day weekend! Classes will resume the following Sunday,
September 10th!

and our Nursery will be opened.

every woman: generosity, receptivity, sensitivity and maternity. With humor, faith, and the open-hearted tone of a trusted mentor, Pat Gohn shares how she became empowered to embrace her blessings and beauty, and how readers can do the same.
Sessions start September 5th, and runs Tuesday mornings at 9 am in the St. Lorenzo room, and Tuesday evenings in the St. Matthew room at 6 pm. Books are $15 and are available in the office.
