Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
It’s already been 4 months since I became your parish priest; and I have to say that I
am still learning my way around. I ask for
your continued patience given that there has
been a turnover of our parish staff. But amid
the learning curves that I and the rest of the
parish staff try to navigate, I can say that we
are truly blessed to be here in this beautiful
parish family. Ours indeed is a vibrant
parish with great faith formation and
ministry programs and many dedicated
volunteers.
If you still remember the survey that you
filled out last May, know that the Pastoral
Council has been talking and reflecting
about the results in our council meetings. I
have requested the council members to help
me create a list of Pastoral Priorities that will
guide our parish life and ministry for the
next 5 years. Your comments in the survey
will help us reaching those goals and
objectives. Thank you so much in
participating in the parish survey.
In this month of November, let us
particularly remember our deceased
brothers and sisters and pray for their
eternal repose. Know that all names put in
the basket in front of the altar are included
in all our Mass intentions for the whole
month of November.
Let us continue to pray for and support our
parish family, and like the widow in the
Gospel, give our all for the glory of God.

Hermanos y hermanas en Cristo,
Ya han pasado 4 meses desde que me convertí
en su párroco; y tengo que decir que todavía
estoy aprendiendo. Solicito su paciencia
continua dado que ha habido un cambio en el
personal de nuestra parroquia. Pero en medio
de las curvas de aprendizaje que yo y el resto
del personal de la parroquia intentamos
navegar, puedo decir que estamos
verdaderamente bendecidos de estar aquí en
esta hermosa familia parroquial. De hecho, la
nuestra es una parroquia vibrante con gran
formación en la fe y programas de ministerio y
muchos voluntarios dedicados.
Si aún recuerda la encuesta que completó en
mayo pasado, sepa que el Consejo Pastoral ha
estado hablando y reflexionando sobre los
resultados en nuestras reuniones de consejo.
He solicitado a los miembros del consejo que
me ayuden a crear una lista de prioridades
pastorales que guiarán nuestra vida parroquial
y nuestro ministerio durante los próximos 5
años. Sus comentarios en la encuesta nos
ayudarán a alcanzar esas metas y objetivos.
Muchas gracias por participar en la encuesta
parroquial.
En este mes de noviembre, recordemos
particularmente a nuestros hermanos y
hermanas que han fallecido y oremos por su

Thursday, November 15th following morn-
ing (8am)mass in the Parish Center. If you
are not able to attend the meeting but would
like to join us in praying the Rosary for Life
that will begin at 8:45am. All are welcome!
End-of-Life Decisions Presentation
Sunday, November 18th at 11:15 a.m.
Dr. Mayda Ramos will discuss end-of-life
decisions in the parish library. An accompa-
nying guide is available in the narthex and the
parish office. All are welcome!

Immaculate Conception Parish in Stayton will be hosting international speaker and best-selling author, Jon Leonetti, for a three evening parish mission you will never forget!
Each evening Jon will be presenting from 6:30 – 7:40 pm on three distinct topics
Evening 1: Who is God and why does that matter? Evening 2: The lives of some of the most fascinating and holy people to ever walk the planet. Evening 3: Jon will help us live an authentic relationship with Jesus in the messiness of everyday life. Regis St. Mary Catholic School students will sing contemporary Christian songs before the first 2 night’s talks. All are welcome. Childcare is provided!
FBYC presents Catholic 101 on Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30 pm November 20, 27, December 4 and 11.
