Power of the Grotto Water

• This beautiful photograph reminds me of when I was a child of about 4 or 5. The skin on both of my hands began to peel and crack. This went on for some time. My mother, who was a very religious woman, took me to the Grotto in the Bronx. I'll always remember that my hands healed very soon after soaking them in the water at the Grotto. The condition never returned. I'm 65 now and have always gotten compliments on my hands. My hands are still very youthful looking at my age.– -- OhioSadie (Flickr.com)
