The Parish will be conducting a school supply drive to benefit Inez Community students in need.
Look for the box in the Narthex to place donated school supply items. Deadline: Aug. 31st
St. Joseph Picnic Action Items – for Sunday, September 10th
NEW THIS YEAR!!! – We are taking any/all donations towards Father Barnabas’ Cake. You may
donate PRIOR to the picnic day by noteing on envelope or on your check OR on picnic day. Every
donor will be entered into a drawing to WIN Fr. BARNABAS’ CAKE! The cake goal is $5,000.00!
Notice: We will not be able to accept donated alcoholic beverages for the live or silent auctions or
country store due to the lack of a temporary liquor license.
There is a sign-up sheet in the Narthex for volunteers in all areas.
We are in great need of Clean-up & Dishwashing Volunteers.
Monetary donations are needed for the Bucket Game, sign-up in the Narthex.
Live & Silent Auctions and Country Store are accepting donations. Small items may be brought by the
church office. If you have large items call Danny Witte 361-532-9503
Auction & Country Store donations may also be brought to Inez Community Center on Saturday
morning, the day before the Picnic. Homemade food items must have your name and date on them.
Remember we will need cakes for the Cake Walk that weekend.
NEW small toys, puzzles, games are needed for the Game Room & may be left in toy box in Narthex.
We are in need of cardboard to put on the floors of the kitchen.
The Raffle tickets you purchase can be entered under your church donations if turned in to the
office by Sept. 4th. All tickets sold/bought after Sept. 4th
must be turned in at the Picnic.
Please pick-up Picnic Flyers in Narthex to put in your place of business or businesses you frequent.

Holy Family is having a Women's ACTS Retreat Sept. 28-Oct.1st. Registration forms for the retreat are in
