ST. JOHN’S COLLEGE SANTA FEThe Santa Fe campus of St. John’s College opened in 1964, thanksto a gift of land at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains fromJohn and Faith Meem. Santa Fe has a high desert climate, withsnow in the winter and 300 days of sunshine each year. St. John’s is8,000 feet above sea level, which is about 1,000 feet higher thanSanta Fe’s downtown area.

THE STUDENT ACTIVITIES CENTERThe Student Activities Center is home to personal fitness equipmentand athletic facilities including a full-size gymnasium, weight room,and two racquetball/squash courts, as well as shower and lockerrooms. Three tennis courts, a soccer field, a 1/8th-mile track, and anine-hole disc golf course are located nearby.
