items for S/S 21. As elevated basics

continue to be an important driver, we

also see the demand for products

with heritage appeal." (Palmer, 2019, pg.2)

• Roomy garments allowing babies to move.

• "Workwear" look.• One-piece outfits such

as rompers and bodysuits.

• Knitted garments.• Retro sportswear.• Using sustainable

materials.• Products that will last

and can be passed down as hand-me-downs.

Color Palette (Pantone)• Inspired by that

minimalistic look that is predicted to be fashionable for Spring 2021.

• These light colors provide an earthy tone relating to sustainable clothing that is predicted for baby girls clothing in Spring 2021.

• I believe pink and gray offer a soothing affect which is why I chose these two colors as my main color palette.

Fabric Trends: Homespun true knits, natural cottons, and linen.

• "Homespun true knitted silhouettes make a comeback, as highlighted from directional brands at recent trade shows." (Palmer, 2019, pg. 2)

• Homespun means rustic, unpolished, or simple. A homemade feel.

• Very loose, loopy, handcrafted.• Homespun garments are predicted for this

Spring/Summer 2020, and now also being predicted for baby girl clothing in the Spring/Summer of 2021.

I would like my garments to be sold by Stella McCartney because Stella McCartney is a designer brand who holds a good name. The brand is also known for their good quality products. Even though their prices are higher than others, you get a better product that will last longer. Stella McCartney is also known for their modern touch on childrens clothing making my line a perfet addition to Stella McCartney.
